"Loved the neighborhood, loved the patio and the living space, loved the proximity to the beach and hiking trails, loved the hosts, and loved Santa Barbara! Very convenient and easy place to stay within walking distance to some great restaurants and markets. Hot tub in the private patio was a bonus. The beach was beautiful and a short walk away. Very quiet and safe neighborhood... mostly kick-back kind of locals and families. Hosts are very knowledgable about the area... ask them about good hiking trails... We will most definitely be back!"

"This home is everything the other reviews state. However, a warning to be careful of all the objects. We chipped a vase on a small shelf by the front door, so asked for a repair estimate and value. We were never provided either, except being told was extremely valuable. We were given two potential artists, but their work didn't match the vase's signature or medium. The manager apologized and acknowledged she shouldn't have placed it there. The owner kept a significant portion of our deposit without explanation or documentation. That is not right."

"This is our 4th time returning to this property---
We continue to appreciate the peace and tranquility of this wonderful location---Just minutes from downtown Santa Barbara, the beaches, yet a quiet oasis.
The spacious grounds, wonderful trees and variety of plantings make you feel like you are in your own world. We never tire of starting the day when the light begins to shine onto the hillside and mountains.
Even though we enjoy a late afternoon drink at the Boathouse restaurant at Hendry s Beach nothing compares to the view from your own deck. We often
head back to the house, after a trip to the Farmer s Market to grill supper and enjoy the spectacular sunset. During our time in Santa Barbara we take full advantage of having dinner outside at the house, or one of the many restaurants in town with wonderful patio and terrace seating.
Thank you again Jeanne for allowing us to share your special place."

"We had a wonderful time at this darling 3 bedroom SB getaway. Very spacious yard, complete with a spa (wish we had time to try it out!), lots of grassy area, eating area and convenient outside "buffet" counter to serve everyone and free up kitchen space. The kitchen is very well appointed with lots of utensils, gadgets, coffee set up, huge frig and lower freezer drawer. The downstairs bathroom is a jack and jill set-up between the two downstairs rooms. Rooms are very comfortable, but the bathroom is quite small and "cozy". The upstairs suite is gigantic! My in-laws appreciated that spacious area - it has a small balcony off the bedroom, a full-sized tub, large bathroom and separate shower area. There are lots of closets throughout, including a full pantry in the kitchen to store dry goods. Both my parents and in-laws appreciated the relaxed house lay-out - both liked how comfortable it was to stay in a B&B style home rather than spread apart in separate hotel rooms. One word of caution: the house rules are very specific regarding the tidiness of the home, but keeping within those details, it is well worth the stay! Very happy with the location, the appearance, the ample parking on the driveway and on the street. Best part? VERY quiet at night - no street noise at all. I didn't check mark recommending this location for families with small children, only because of the steep stairs and small downstairs bath - though the yard certainly is certainly perfect for young ones to run around! Having lived in Santa Barbara many years ago, I found this house to be a lovely example of the charming older homes that can be found throughout this city. Very nice overall and would highly recommend to others."
