  • San Ysidro Ranch All To Ourselves!!

"Happily, this was our second stay at this beautiful retreat! We visit the area often and this home is by far our favorite place to stay! No other property comes close to providing the privacy, relaxation & natural beauty of this home and the outdoor space that is so unique to Montecito! As soon as you drive through the gate, you will be transformed! The property is completely fenced with gorgeous landscaping to maximize the beauty of the huge oaks trees throughout the property along with native Californian plants & multiple lawn areas. The back patio stretches the length of the back of the home providing a stunning vantage point to enjoy the grounds making it a perfect spot to enjoy breakfast in your PJ's! Our only problem was we found ourselves still in those PJ's as lunch was nearing!!:) The owners generously allowed us to bring our beloved dog, and he spent endless hours exploring outside off leash, which is priceless! The inside of this character filled home is an experience all on it's own. It is meticulously maintained by the owners who have added all the modern conveniences of a Chef's kitchen but retained so much of the original details and character of this 1940's home! It truly has that San Ysidro Ranch feel, with the Santa Barbara Stone walls in the living and dining room, saltillo tile floors, wooden ceilings with ample skylights, original stain glass windows, with a lovely fireplace in the living room and master bedroom. It's located in a lovely walkable neighborhood and a 5 minute drive into downtown Montecito! It's an extraordinary place that we hope to return to again and again!!!"

  • Relaxing Getaway Close to a Quiet Beach

"We loved our long weekend at this quiet, relaxing property tucked into a darling Montecito neighborhood. The suite was well-equipped and cozy. We loved our evening walks at the nearby beach, and greatly appreciated all of your wonderful restaurant recommendations. The continental breakfasts were perfect! Thank you for a lovely stay!! We love being off the beaten path and this was just the right match for us! Thank you for your hospitality!"

  • Great Stay!

"I just finished up my stay at Pam and Eric's wonderful cottage. This was my third stay in a Montecito area cottage and easily the best. I can't stress enough how great the location is---short walk to beach, the Biltmore, and all the shops/restaurants on Coast Village Road. As mentioned in some other reviews, fantastic bed and great little kitchen area and patio. Pam and Eric were very helpful, friendly and can answer anything you need to know about the area. I can't wait to go back and stay with them again! Tom"

  • Paradise in Montecito

"Our holiday in Montecito was extraordinary. This romantic Spanish style home sits on a beautifully landscaped two acre lot in the heart of Montecito, an upscale area in Santa Barbara, California. The site offers privacy and seclusion - yet it is minutes away from all major attractions. The home is exceptionally clean, with lovely furnishings. All your needs are met. We spent many happy hours on the property itself, sitting under the trees with a glass of wine and a good book. The various seating areas were like vignettes begging for your attention - first the front patio, then the various areas at the rear with the wonderful views to the mountains. Montecito is a small enclave which offers all the amenities that can be found in any first class city. Should you wish to have a fabulous meal - there are numerous restaurants within a ten minute radius. Shopping in Santa Barbara was a delight. The main street is tree- lined with interesting shops and eateries. The El Presidio, located in the downtown core, is a stark reminder of Santa Barbara’s historic Spanish past. The proprietor provided us with information about the area and welcomed us with a bottle of wine and beautiful orchids. A lovely beginning to a wonderful time. We are looking forward to returning to this exceptional property in the very near future."
