  • Enchanting!

"My husband and I stayed at Cliff and Nicola's wonderful little B&B. It is an enchanting studio amongst the trees . A friend who stopped by for drinks said she could live there! Spacious for a studio and very well equipped. Must more so than we expected. Cliff and Pippin (their pooch) were great, and although we did not meet Nicola, we could certainly see her touches everywhere. We look forward to staying again."

  • Stop searching....this is the place!

"I have rented many vrbo's over the years, and this was probably one of the best if not THE best places we have chosen for many reasons. First of all, it was a last minute trip for my husband and daughter and I. Lisa was so kind and accommodating---especially since our request to stay was on short notice. Their downstairs cottage is so charming and quaint. When we walked in, Lisa had the stereo going with peaceful spa like music. What a sweet thing to do. I felt like I was in Europe. The gardens are just so well manicured and peaceful, with the pathways and the fountain, the birds and the flowers. You would have no idea you were minutes away from town and the beach. We stayed in the first night and enjoyed the backyard and the nature. You truly feel secluded. However, if you want to walk to eat or go to a bar or restaurant, its an easy 5 minute beautiful walk. Butterfly beach is so easily accessible as well and again...just a gorgeous stroll. We cooked and picked lemons to make lemon drops----so tasty! The beds (even the pullout couch) were comfy and although the area was going through a hot spell, the cottage stayed cool and comfortable the whole time. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a serene getaway. It would be a bit small for 4 or more people, but considering the outdoor garden space, it could be do-able. It definitely is the "Carmel" of Southern California! Five Stars!! Thank you again!"

  • This is where I stay in Santa Barbara

"We travel to Santa Barbara several times a year and have stayed in many hotels and motels. My first moments in this place made it my first choice in Santa Barbara. My favorite beach and a good selection of restaurants are within easy walking distance. Great place...I've already booked it for next year."
