  • Absolutely Perfect for Us!

"My graduate student son had to be in Santa Barbara for a career-related event. I reserved Creekside Montecito for his stay. He visited alone and absolutely loved Creekside Montecito! As I understand it, Creekside Montecito is an adorable cottage-y, apartment-style accommodation on the top floor of a structure that is separate from the main home on the property. It is very private and quiet and welcoming. His favorite things about it, in no particular order: Breakfast! Nicola had stocked the refrigerator with the next day's breakfast foods before he arrived. What a nice touch! He loved that he could nibble at his convenience, whenever he was hungry, night or day. And then he got to place an order from a list of great options for the second day's breakfast. He sent me a picture. It looked like it came straight off the pages of an entertaining magazine. Two hard-boiled eggs in the most adorable speckled blue, egg-shaped bowl, a big toasted bagel with butter, fresh raspberries, and blueberry yogurt. A gorgeous presentation. He was in heaven. Friendly, helpful host. He felt so comfortable with Nicola from the start. She was very accommodating, approachable, and helpful. The place was perfect in every way, so no special needs arose, but he did appreciate her kindness and approachability. She showed him around on check-in, answered his questions about the local area, and gave him tips on where to run, eat, etc. The "apartment" was super clean and cute. Spotlessly clean, very aesthetically pleasing, tons of ambiance. Perfect! Great location. My son was there on business and had very little money to spend (student), but he had lots of fun in between, and Montecito Creekside was the perfect launching point. He went on several runs -- along the beach, through parks, all around the very cute neighborhood. He sent plenty of great pictures. Beautiful! His business events were just 10 minutes away in the southern portion of Santa Barbara. Excellent cafes nearby. Beautiful gardens. Scenery. The beach and ocean. There's a neighborhood path right by Creekside Montecito that goes down to the beach. He had a blast, and nearly all of it for free! This was a real win. My son and I would highly recommend this place! Making the arrangements with Nicola was super easy. Instructions were very clear and helpful. Pricing was right. I might make a visit myself someday! :) Thank you, Nicola and Cliff!"

  • HEAVEN !

"What a wonderful, charming casita! In a beautiful quiet little neighborhood. So convenient to both town and beach. The only problem was, that you couldn't wait to gat back to the casita each day, just to enjoy the comfort and serenity ( and all the amenities ) that were provided. it was just heaven! We will definitely be back."

  • Terrific!

"This is a terrific place to stay, especially with a small pooch. It was lovely & comfortable, with wonderful mountain views. The owner simply could not be more hospitable & helpful, and sent absolutely perfect driving directions. The property is a very quick drive to Santa Barbara or Montecito, with a private setting. It has everything you could possible need; a fully-equipped kitchen, large washer/dryer, WiFi, cable, and a charming freestanding gas stove. I would suggest that this location is best for 1-3 people, or 2 couples at the most if they're very friendly."

  • lovely Montecito cottage

"3 women friends enjoyed a 4 night stay at the Montecito Estancia. It was ideal for us, as we each had our own separate space and the location was perfect for seeing the Santa Barbara area. The property was very attractive, clean, and had all amenities needed. Plus the grounds were lovely. One suggestion would be to provide better lighting especially at bedsides and in the smaller bathroom."
