"My husband and I rented this house because we were having a wedding for my daughter at the Four Seasons Biltmore. My daughter and her soon to be husband stayed some of the time, and a couple of her bridesmaids stayed the rest of the time before the upcoming wedding. This house is a magical, dream come true destination for the most discerning traveler--location, architecture and surrounding beauty. Every room had views to die for and comfort galore. We found joy and peace every minute that we were in the home. This stay made the wedding extra special for my family, and we have memories that will last a life time. The owners are wonderful people, and I am so happy I had the opportunity to stay in this beautiful, breathtaking home for this most important, happy event."

Great home for multigenerational family get together
"We rented Chris's home to get our family together for a major anniversary. It proved to be a first class decision with plenty of space to avoid treading on each others toes and stacks of entertainment possibilities. There is a superb pool (heavily used), spa and barbeque within a very pleasant and well maintained fenced garden. Age range in our group was 2 - 72 there were no complaints. Landlord Chris was very helpful but not obtrusive.
The house is in a very pleasant quiet suburb within easy reach of the town. We have no hesitation recommending this home to any group wanting to spend some time in Santa Barbara."

"Our holiday in Montecito was extraordinary. This romantic Spanish style home sits on a beautifully landscaped two acre lot in the heart of Montecito, an upscale area in Santa Barbara, California. The site offers privacy and seclusion - yet it is minutes away from all major attractions. The home is exceptionally clean, with lovely furnishings. All your needs are met.
We spent many happy hours on the property itself, sitting under the trees with a glass of wine and a good book. The various seating areas were like vignettes begging for your attention - first the front patio, then the various areas at the rear with the wonderful views to the mountains.
Montecito is a small enclave which offers all the amenities that can be found in any first class city. Should you wish to have a fabulous meal - there are numerous restaurants within a ten minute radius.
Shopping in Santa Barbara was a delight. The main street is tree- lined with interesting shops and eateries. The El Presidio, located in the downtown core, is a stark reminder of Santa Barbara’s historic Spanish past.
The proprietor provided us with information about the area and welcomed us with a bottle of wine and beautiful orchids. A lovely beginning to a wonderful time.
We are looking forward to returning to this exceptional property in the very near future."

"When I arrived on location, I couldn't believe that this was the beach house we rented. Yes, all of the images and descriptions were accurate online. But I didn't think I was going to be so enchanted by the place.
I stayed here with nine other adults. There were some questions from my friends as to how we would fit ten adults in a beach house. Well let me tell you: it was easy! The house has three bedrooms (with room for two in each) and two couches that convert into beds (both are big enough for two). There is a trick to converting the couches that took us a while to figure out: the pull-out mattress has a handle on the side to adjust the height.
The house itself is gorgeous and looks and feels "lived-in." There are books, board games, cooking tools, dinnerware, coffee, popcorn, televisions, an iPod speaker, a PING PONG TABLE--pretty much everything you would find (or would want) in your own home. It's like you're staying at a friend's house and not some random rental without charm or life. Did I mention there is a jacuzzi?
The location was great. The beach is nearby. State Street is about a half hour's walk (did not actually time it, but it didn't seem too far). Trader Joe's and CVS are just around the corner for all of your needs. Just fantastic.
All in all, it was a magical vacation and it wouldn't have been so without being able to stay at such an amazing house. Would stay again!"
