"I stayed at this lovely cottage last weekend with my husband, son, and dog. We all loved our experience there! The landscaping was green and lush, the cottage cool and tranquil and charming. The kitchen was lovely with an old Viking stove, and the linens provided very comfortable and homey. The location was perfect for a quick drive into Santa Barbara to shop or dine. We miss the sound of the birds already. Thank you for providing such a good spot to relax away from computers/work/traffic."

"We just left and I'm already missing the weather. We were in town to celebrate our brothers wedding. We were walking distance to the wedding sight and the brides family was right next door at the inn. The house was big enough to have the wedding party over for dinner and enjoy the backyard. We have a one year old, 6 and 7 yr. old and loved that we didn't have to travel with all the baby needs because The Cottages had it all! We spent our mornings with the family in the backyard having our breakfast and dinner also! We had a blast. This home was well stocked and you can tell that the owners take great pride in their rental and don't cut corners. Owners were easy to contact and we had no problems with booking, concerns or accommodations. We will definitely be back. Weddings are stressful but staying at the cottages was so helpful and comfortable. Thanks for everything!"

Great House and Very Accommodating and Informative Owners
"My family rented this house for several days in order to participate in a large event in the Santa Barbara area. The house feels like a home rather than a rental property. It is evident that care was taken with the selection of paint, furniture, fixtures and accessories and that care produced a charming residence. The photos do NOT do the house justice. The public areas are very open and accommodating and there are several distinct areas where one may gather with others. The kitchen is nicely outfitted and very functional. The location permits easy access to Butterfly Beach and the village of Montecito. Downtown Santa Barbara is a short drive away.
The owner graciously devoted hours to drafting a very informative booklet about the house, restaurants, shopping, etc. and this information allowed one to devote time to quality activities rather than figuring out the lay of the land. I would rent this place again without reservation."

"We had a fantastic famiy reunion celebrating our dad's 80th birthday. We ranged in age from 7 years old to 80 and there was something for everyone. We thoroughly enjoyed the beautiful gardens and the gorgeous estate. There is no need to leave the Ravenscroft Estate because there is so much to do. My neice enjoyed finding fresh eggs every morning in the chicken coop, we all loved swimming in the pool, relaxing in the jacuzzi and playing family tennis. The lawn was perfect for bocce ball. We watched family movies in the theater, played ping pong, rode bikes and went hiking. There are so many lovely gardens to choose from to just sit and read a book or listen to the birds chirping. The kitchen was well equiped with gorgeous appliances which made it a joy to cook family meals. It was truly hard to leave and we all hope to be able to return soon."
