  • Perfect Slice of Paradise!

"I've been staying in this wonderful cottage each summer since 2010 and my only hesitation in writing a review is that my secret will be discovered by too many other travelers! This isn't a rental - it's a home. From the beautiful linens to the gourmet kitchen and the stylish bathrooms, every element of the home is well cared for. Just a couple of blocks to the dog-friendly Butterfly Beach and the gorgeous grounds of the Four Seasons Biltmore Hotel, it's the perfect central location for enjoying the best of Montecito. Coast Village Road is full of shops and restaurants and also within walking distance. Downtown Santa Barbara and State Street are just 5 minutes away by car. If you're looking to visit Santa Barbara but be out of the midst of the tourist throngs, this is the perfect location and the perfect vacation home."

  • Second year done...can't wait for the third year!

"My family has just completed our second year staying at Palm Tree properties and we are all so excited for next year's family trip! Our family, full of small children come from all across the nation for two weeks in Santa Barbara and we are so lucky to have found Julie's home two years ago! The home's open floor plan is ideal for keeping our large group separate but still connected, some people cooking in the kitchen, some people lounging on the comfy sofas reading, some people playing games outside on the patio - it's perfect! We have so many favorite features it's hard to say what is the best, ping pong tourney's go on year to year, east coast vs. west coast bocce tournaments, kids keeping themselves occupied for hours on the trampoline and the endless hours in the pool and Jacuzzi! Daily trips to Vons and Rori's ice cream parlor which are right around the corner and the beach only minutes away via car (too hard to walk with so many kids) makes this an ideal spot for any family looking for comfortable convenient luxury! Already dreaming of next year! Thanks again Julie for yet a wonderful vacation!"

  • A magical setting for memories

"Ravenscroft is appointed with such thoughtful detail. Photos do not do it justice. Melanie and Todd clearly have thought of all the comforts and luxuries to allow for relaxation, fun and creating memories. The kitchen is enviable. And there are so many picturesque places to relax and have a meal or just a glass of wine. From the sitting area near the outdoor fireplace to the indescribable room with vines on the ceilings. With a tennis court, pool and gorgeous gardens, you never have to leave Ravenscroft for a perfect holiday. It is really a magical place."

  • lovely Montecito cottage

"3 women friends enjoyed a 4 night stay at the Montecito Estancia. It was ideal for us, as we each had our own separate space and the location was perfect for seeing the Santa Barbara area. The property was very attractive, clean, and had all amenities needed. Plus the grounds were lovely. One suggestion would be to provide better lighting especially at bedsides and in the smaller bathroom."
