"The second year in a row to rent this most wonderful home. Our 19-year old son was so excited to return, citing that he loves the entire atmosphere and charm. It's so comfortable. We love the piano too. Our favorite thing to do is have our morning coffee looking out over Montecito. All meals were eaten on the terrace. Beds are all so comfortable."Guest: Kelly B. "We were so thankful to find this comfortable casita for our visit to Santa Barbara! It was the perfect spot for my husband and me to call home while visiting our daughter at Westmont College. The owners were so nice and everything we could have needed was provided, including privacy. The location was perfect... a quiet residential neighborhood near Butterfly Beach, good restaurants, and all the charm of Montecito!"Guest: Diane Date of Stay: November 2014 Review Submitted: November 19, 2014View listing
"Happily, this was our second stay at this beautiful retreat! We visit the area often and this home is by far our favorite place to stay! No other property comes close to providing the privacy, relaxation & natural beauty of this home and the outdoor space that is so unique to Montecito! As soon as you drive through the gate, you will be transformed! The property is completely fenced with gorgeous landscaping to maximize the beauty of the huge oaks trees throughout the property along with native Californian plants & multiple lawn areas. The back patio stretches the length of the back of the home providing a stunning vantage point to enjoy the grounds making it a perfect spot to enjoy breakfast in your PJ's! Our only problem was we found ourselves still in those PJ's as lunch was nearing!!:) The owners generously allowed us to bring our beloved dog, and he spent endless hours exploring outside off leash, which is priceless! The inside of this character filled home is an experience all on it's own. It is meticulously maintained by the owners who have added all the modern conveniences of a Chef's kitchen but retained so much of the original details and character of this 1940's home! It truly has that San Ysidro Ranch feel, with the Santa Barbara Stone walls in the living and dining room, saltillo tile floors, wooden ceilings with ample skylights, original stain glass windows, with a lovely fireplace in the living room and master bedroom. It's located in a lovely walkable neighborhood and a 5 minute drive into downtown Montecito! It's an extraordinary place that we hope to return to again and again!!!"Guest: Tuckies Mom Date of Stay: September 2014 Review Submitted: October 28, 2014View listing
"This cozy cottage was the perfect space for a beach getaway. Nestled behind some homes up a windy driveway in a wonderful Montecito neighborhood, it actually was as cute and clean as the pictures showed. I quickly felt at home with all the comforts and amenities provided... kitchen area, big screen tv, wifi, and especially enjoyed the quiet and relaxing patio area. The complimentary bottle of wine and hot tub came in handy after a day of cycling along the coastal bike paths. The fact that it was dog-friendly sealed the deal for me and Scruffie! This is a studio size cottage, so it was the perfect size for us. I think it would be just as cozy for one more. Very affordable, and less expensive than most of the local, less appealing hotels. The owners were especially nice and easy to deal with. Can't wait to go back! I can't really think of any negatives, except that I couldn't stay longer."Guest: Frase Date of Stay: September 2014 Review Submitted: September 19, 2014View listing
