  • San Ysidro Ranch All To Ourselves!!

"Happily, this was our second stay at this beautiful retreat! We visit the area often and this home is by far our favorite place to stay! No other property comes close to providing the privacy, relaxation & natural beauty of this home and the outdoor space that is so unique to Montecito! As soon as you drive through the gate, you will be transformed! The property is completely fenced with gorgeous landscaping to maximize the beauty of the huge oaks trees throughout the property along with native Californian plants & multiple lawn areas. The back patio stretches the length of the back of the home providing a stunning vantage point to enjoy the grounds making it a perfect spot to enjoy breakfast in your PJ's! Our only problem was we found ourselves still in those PJ's as lunch was nearing!!:) The owners generously allowed us to bring our beloved dog, and he spent endless hours exploring outside off leash, which is priceless! The inside of this character filled home is an experience all on it's own. It is meticulously maintained by the owners who have added all the modern conveniences of a Chef's kitchen but retained so much of the original details and character of this 1940's home! It truly has that San Ysidro Ranch feel, with the Santa Barbara Stone walls in the living and dining room, saltillo tile floors, wooden ceilings with ample skylights, original stain glass windows, with a lovely fireplace in the living room and master bedroom. It's located in a lovely walkable neighborhood and a 5 minute drive into downtown Montecito! It's an extraordinary place that we hope to return to again and again!!!"

  • Absolutely Perfect for Us!

"My graduate student son had to be in Santa Barbara for a career-related event. I reserved Creekside Montecito for his stay. He visited alone and absolutely loved Creekside Montecito! As I understand it, Creekside Montecito is an adorable cottage-y, apartment-style accommodation on the top floor of a structure that is separate from the main home on the property. It is very private and quiet and welcoming. His favorite things about it, in no particular order: Breakfast! Nicola had stocked the refrigerator with the next day's breakfast foods before he arrived. What a nice touch! He loved that he could nibble at his convenience, whenever he was hungry, night or day. And then he got to place an order from a list of great options for the second day's breakfast. He sent me a picture. It looked like it came straight off the pages of an entertaining magazine. Two hard-boiled eggs in the most adorable speckled blue, egg-shaped bowl, a big toasted bagel with butter, fresh raspberries, and blueberry yogurt. A gorgeous presentation. He was in heaven. Friendly, helpful host. He felt so comfortable with Nicola from the start. She was very accommodating, approachable, and helpful. The place was perfect in every way, so no special needs arose, but he did appreciate her kindness and approachability. She showed him around on check-in, answered his questions about the local area, and gave him tips on where to run, eat, etc. The "apartment" was super clean and cute. Spotlessly clean, very aesthetically pleasing, tons of ambiance. Perfect! Great location. My son was there on business and had very little money to spend (student), but he had lots of fun in between, and Montecito Creekside was the perfect launching point. He went on several runs -- along the beach, through parks, all around the very cute neighborhood. He sent plenty of great pictures. Beautiful! His business events were just 10 minutes away in the southern portion of Santa Barbara. Excellent cafes nearby. Beautiful gardens. Scenery. The beach and ocean. There's a neighborhood path right by Creekside Montecito that goes down to the beach. He had a blast, and nearly all of it for free! This was a real win. My son and I would highly recommend this place! Making the arrangements with Nicola was super easy. Instructions were very clear and helpful. Pricing was right. I might make a visit myself someday! :) Thank you, Nicola and Cliff!"

  • lovely Montecito cottage

"3 women friends enjoyed a 4 night stay at the Montecito Estancia. It was ideal for us, as we each had our own separate space and the location was perfect for seeing the Santa Barbara area. The property was very attractive, clean, and had all amenities needed. Plus the grounds were lovely. One suggestion would be to provide better lighting especially at bedsides and in the smaller bathroom."

  • Beautiful Cottage in Montecito Lower Village

"We stayed here for a month over the summer and loved every minute of it! Walking distance of fantastic restaurants (definitely try Cava, Sakana Sushi, and Tre Lune), shopping, groceries, and less than a half mile walk to Butterfly Beach. The house is beautifully updated with hardwood floors (other than the bedrooms which are carpeted), an update kitchen (with granite/stainless steel), and an excellent washer and dryer. The house was fully stocked with everything we could possibly need for the summer. Highly recommend and we hope to return again!"
