  • Lovely Patio

"This house is really what all the reviews sum it up to be: great location, a bit outdated, kitchen lacks supplies (ie: saran wrap, foil, oil, oven mitts), there were a few spiders but nothing too terrifying, and the backyard patio area with the large hot tub really is as amazing as everyone raves it to be. This rental is one of the cheaper ones we found in the Santa Barbara area and Jill was great to work with during the booking process. The location of the house was a cheap Lyft/Uber ride to Downtown Santa Barbara (maybe $10). We had a blast in Santa Barbara and really enjoyed our time outside in the backyard."

  • Great getaway!

"We really enjoyed our stay at the Stillpoint Sanctuary. It was nicely appointed with a great gourmet kitchen complete including all appliances and had a nicely renovated bathroom. It was very comfortable and cozy and we were especially happy that they accommodated our little poodle as well! The cottage was clean and the owner was very kind in offering any assistance that we might need. The mountain views were beautiful and the location was perfect for a short jaunt to downtown Montecito and Santa Barbara. I would highly recommend staying here for your visit to the area!"

  • A Hidden Gem!

"This cottage is truly a hidden gem. My husband and I wanted to explore wine country and relax at the beach. Laura and Dave's cottage was a wonderful place to stay and in a perfect location to Downtown Santa Barbara, restaurants, shopping and a short 45 min drive to wine country! The cottage is well appointed and the bed is really comfy! Laura was super sweet by greeting us with a bottle of wine, and very helpful with recommendations for dinners and such. Love the outdoor shower and private beach. We had a very relaxing vacation and will certainly be back."

  • Magical Place To Stay

"There is something about Karen's home that makes you instantly feel welcome. It's beautifully decorated with all the amenities you could want. We rented the house to celebrate our recent wedding and had friends and family in town from LA, NY, the UK and Hong Kong. Every single person commented on how beautiful the home was. We loved sitting out on the deck and taking in the views. There isn't a bad seat in the house and the kitchen is designed to entertain. All of us loved gathering together, eating and telling stories. A hotel never would have been able to accommodate us all. My biggest concern was my elderly mother being able to get around the house but it was incredibly handicapped friendly. With a bedroom on the main floor and a shower that comes equipped with a handheld hose, my mom had no trouble and was able to enjoy a rare weekend getaway. We were also able to bring our dog Stevie with us which as any dog lover knows is a big deal. Karen is an incredibly gracious host, making sure we had coffee and tea and blankets for outside. She was always very responsive when I had any questions as well. When we left my mom's oxygen tanks, she promptly contacted us and handled some other issues that came up with graciousness. I think the only downside to the entire weekend was that we had to leave. We are already talking with our friends about making this a yearly trip. If you book a stay at Karen's home you're in for a real treat."
