"Beautiful room in a quiet neighborhood. We've stayed at a variety of places in Santa Barbara while visiting our son. This one is by far our favorite. It was perfect for our dog too. A beautiful park is right up the street. Beware! Lots of poison oak if you go onto the hills. We eat out a lot so lack of kitchen was fine. Denise and Sheridan are there when you need them but you have lots of privacy. We will put this listing on top of our list."

"Lynn's house was just right for our use with four related adults and our 8 month old grandson. This is a good value in Santa Barbara. The house is small but large enough to have our individual private space. It is well located on The Mesa on a quiet dead-end street. Our walk through the neighborhood to the Douglas Nature Preserve on the cliffs was perfect. It helped that we could see Anacapa, Santa Rosa, Santa Cruz and even San Miguel Island on our three extremely clear days. Views of the ocean were minimal from the house but the sun reflecting on the hillside was wonderful. Like most of Santa Barbara after 4 years of drought the lawns and plants are thirsty for a good rainstorm. We played bocce and enjoyed the hot tub. Nearby Lazy Acres Market was full of tasty food options. Thank you for having this family lodging option in Santa Barbara."

"We had a fantastic famiy reunion celebrating our dad's 80th birthday. We ranged in age from 7 years old to 80 and there was something for everyone. We thoroughly enjoyed the beautiful gardens and the gorgeous estate. There is no need to leave the Ravenscroft Estate because there is so much to do. My neice enjoyed finding fresh eggs every morning in the chicken coop, we all loved swimming in the pool, relaxing in the jacuzzi and playing family tennis. The lawn was perfect for bocce ball. We watched family movies in the theater, played ping pong, rode bikes and went hiking. There are so many lovely gardens to choose from to just sit and read a book or listen to the birds chirping. The kitchen was well equiped with gorgeous appliances which made it a joy to cook family meals. It was truly hard to leave and we all hope to be able to return soon."
