  • Fantastic location, great little cottage

"We recently spent 4 nights at this great cottage for a little post-wedding get away over 4th of July weekend. The house was in great condition; comfortable beds, large kitchen, clean bathrooms, and the location was perfect! We walked to State Street every day! We were able to bring our dog too, which was a huge bonus as there are many dog friendly areas (Hendrys is a dog beach) in Santa Barbara. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a getaway to Santa Barbara!"

  • Excellent!!

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!!! David and Hester were extremely helpful and are fantastic host and hostess. The condo is very comfortable and clean. The kitchen is well equipped. It is an open floor plan which made it a fun place to cook and socialize at the same time. The decor is very unique. There are cool lighting fixtures for nice lighting options at night. The balcony has been redecorated with a new table and chairs, plants, candles and outdoor lighting! We also enjoyed the pool and jacuzzi. It was fantastic!! We will definitely be back. Thank you very much =)"

  • Spacious, fun, and eclectic

"I booked this rental for me and 8 other girls for my friend's bachelorette weekend in Santa Barbara. The location was great, close to downtown and the beach. A few of the girls also discovered a 2-mile running trail with a big hill in the neighborhood. All of the girls, especially the bride-to-be, loved the place. The decor was fun and eclectic. We had a good time discovering new art and trinkets each day, like the oinking pigs in the upstairs bedroom. The kitchen was very well stocked and spacious enough to hold all of us plus a cooking instructor for the cooking class we booked. There is a ping pong table downstairs in the backyard, and a deck upstairs. The dining room table was big enough to accommodate all of us with plenty of room to eat, play cards, and chat. The only problem was the pull-out couch downstairs, which was quite lumpy and crooked/angled when pulled out. This meant one person had to sleep on the hard upstairs couch, which was not so comfortable. This aside, I would highly recommend this rental if you are considering hosting a lot of people for a weekend!"

Upper East Travel Tips

Why Choose Upper East Beach House Rentals?

Because there's so much to do and see in Santa Barbara you're going to be tired at the end of the day. You don't want to come 'home' to a cramped, tiny motel room where you can't spread out and really relax. If you're traveling with a large group of family or friends, you also won't be able to spend much time with them in the evenings because they'll have separate motel rooms. You can avoid all of that discomfort with Upper East Beach house rentals. Upper East vacation homes are big and roomy, but you'll still have separate bedrooms where you can have some privacy. They're a lot more comfortable than a motel room, and it's really hard to beat Santa Barbara vacation rentals for cleanliness and hospitality.
