  • Pretty little condo

"We stayed in this condor for a few nights in April 2015. The location is very nice (quiet residential) and a quick walk to the beach/marina area. It is a little longer walk to get to the shopping area downtown but there is also a trolley that runs up and down the main drag from the far north end to the pier (only until around 6 though). The condo is perfect for two people. The kitchen was large enough to cook in (beautiful granite) and there is a separate area for the coffee pot, espresso machine (what a treat), and toaster. The balcony is nice and large with a table and chairs, however, there is an automatic watering system for the potted plants, and it was making the chairs wet; so we used is very little. The living room has the TV and a small stereo system. A small table for dining is next to the window. The bedroom is a little tight, but how much room do you really need to sleep in? There is a closet off the bedroom with a bookshelf and box fan (unfortunately we did not discover this until we were checking out). The bathroom was very nice with a walk in shower and soft fluffy towels. There is private off-street parking which is tight to get in and out of, but very nice to have when you come back late in the day (no hunting for street parking). The owners were nice enough to leave a bottle of bubble for us….at least we assumed it was for us. There was no note with it. :) Overall a very nice stay. TIP: You have to walk up one short and two full sets of stairs to get to the penthouse. The second set of stairs is rather steep as this is an old restored home. Keep that in mind when you pack for your trip."

  • Superb Vacation Property

"Our excellent accomodation at Seaside Getaway added greatly to our enjoyment of Santa Barbara. The apartment was clean, fresh, comfortable and convenient to the beach and local transportation. The private patio was a lovely retreat after our busy days. We will definitely return to this charming place."

  • Great find!

"We just spent 3 nights at the "Secret Getaway" and it was perfect! Everything from the comfortable king sized bed and lovely bathroom, to the nice kitchen helped make our stay so enjoyable! It is also within walking distance to State Street and just a couple of blocks to the West Beach area. I would definitely come back and stay here again!"

  • Cozy romantic getaway in the best location!

"The 2-story rental is perfect for a couple. Being more removed from the street, the rental offers a bit more privacy. And also for the same reason, we didn't need to keep the blinds closed all the time, so we could let natural light fill the space. The whole place is modestly sized, but has everything necessary for a comfortable stay. We made good use of the kitchen and had home-made breakfast every morning. Other things we loved about the rental: lots of dresser space so we don't need to keep our bags open on the floor, very comfortable bed, excellent water pressure, and the many windows. The best part about the rental is its location. We were literally 3 blocks from a bunch of trendy restaurants and wine shops, 3 blocks from the wharf, half a mile (which makes for a romantic waterfront stroll) from the harbor, and a quick breezy shuttle ride (about 2 miles for those wishing to do more walking) from State Street shopping/restaurants/sightseeing. We even saw a woodpecker on the tree outside the window and a family of ducks in the creek by the back patio. One of the drawbacks is the Amtrak station being less than a block away (which would be a plus for anyone without a car), so every now and then we would hear the train horn, the latest we heard it was at 9pm. The stairs to the second floor bedroom is somewhat steep and not appropriate for older (or very young) travelers. Overall we loved our stay and hope to return soon!"
