  • Beautiful, Comfortable Studio

"We enjoyed our one-month stay at this studio. It is very comfortable and in a quiet and safe neighborhood. About a half mile to the beach, so an easy walk or bike ride to the beach and restaurants. The studio is very well designed and built, bright with large windows and beautiful hardwood floors. The kitchen is well-equipped. I enjoyed the sitting area in the garden."

  • Great location

"We rented this home for 1 week for a family reunion. There were 7 of us ranging in age from 76 to 22 years. We are all fairly active. The location is fabulous. From the upstairs master bedroom balcony we watched dolphins, whales, otters, sea lions, surfers, boats, etc. You could also see some of this from the downstairs living room & patio, or just walk across the street & actually feel like a "part of the action"! Just a half mile (easy) walk or bike ride to Natural Bridges State Park. Big beach, great spot for flying kites, and the butterfly sanctuary. The trail along West Cliff drive is paved, mostly flat, and follows the bay. 2 miles to the wharf & boardwalk, about 1 mile to the surf museum, lots to see & places to get down to the beach. You can also access the tide pools (& beach at low tide) right across the street from the house. We did not need our car while we were there! We brought most of our food, but the Safeway was a short (less than 1 mile) bike ride away. (We also brought our bikes). Less than a mile from the house is also the Santa Cruz Mountain Brewery, several wineries, bakery, cafe, etc. Again, an easy walk or bike ride. There is also a Costco about 3 miles away. All 4 bedrooms were upstairs. We thought there were 2 masters, but the one on the back side of the house only had a 1/2 bath. There was a full bath downstairs. The beds were comfortable, but for some reason no one wanted to shower in the upstairs hallway bath. They either used the master bath or the downstairs. The kitchen has a 5 burner gas stove, side-by-side fridge / freezer, microwave, double oven. All were clean & working. There was also a gas BBQ that we used on the patio off the kitchen. We brought our own propane tank, but there was one there. There were various pots, pans, etc. Service for 8 dishware & extra silverware. I would suggest bringing a sharp knife if you plan to carve any meats! The dining room table was great for family meals as well as board games, etc. No one ever used the DVD. There was a washer & dryer in the garage & both worked. The overall condition of the house was good, but it really needs a good cleaning. There was ample parking & the neighbors were friendly."

  • Great space and location

"My family and I had an amazing time. Great location in Santa Cruz, and a very close walk to the beach, that you can see from the back deck. Loved the layout, kitchen and outdoor grill was very well equipt. Backyard space was our favorite, great place to hang out and catch up with family. And my nephew found the toys in the bunk room and was thrilled. This place had everything one coul imagine needing or wanting on vacation. Will definitely be renting this space again when I return to Santa Cruz."

  • Amazing Beach House right on the Beach in Monterey Bay

"We rented this house to get the whole family together to celebrate a grandparents birthday. We were looking for a nice place that could comfortably house 9 guests and once there, we could just relax, unwind and spend time together. This place fit the bill to a 'T'. It's right on the beach (although you need to go around on a path about 1 house over to actually access the beach), which allowed us to watch the kids playing in the surf while we stayed on the deck and played. Well equipped and outfitted, quiet... perfect for what we needed. Owners were great to work with. Very pleased!"
