"What a great stay!!! My family and I gathered at this house for a family reunion and had a great time! The house was spacious with two distinct communal spaces and two large kitchens. Great beach access and so close! I fell asleep and woke up to the waves crashing every day! The owners were a delight to work with and provided all the necessary information. Awesome place to have a low key gathering away from the hustle and bustle of the city!"Guest: Anonymous Date of Stay: October 2014 Review Submitted: October 7, 2014View listing
"The 4 of us stayed 9 days. Have to comment on the super comfortable beds, so soft you want to sleep in every morning. Kitchen has quality finishes with very nice dishes, utensils and the best of pots and pans. We loved cooking and eating in our little bungalow. Super nice quiet neighborhood with lots of wild life to see in the meadow and grounds. Loved opening the windows to listen to all the different sounds of the life around us. Surprised at the warm sun on our cheeks while the cool breezes whipped around us in the outdoor patio rocking chairs. Had fun letting our 2 dogs visit the neighbors goats to sniff them couple times each day. The Live Oak Tree, just amazing! While cooking and sipping a glass of wine you can discover this tree from both the kitchen sink and the living room and never get tired of its beauty. My husband did not want to leave, he loved everything about this amazing place. Yes it is about 10 minutes from Santa Cruz but worth it. Felton is a neat little town about 5 minutes drive with a lot to offer without the crowds. We made some day trips to Big Sir and Carmel which were also amazing but could not wait to get back to our little paradise at Ben Lomond Bungalow. Looking forward to a return visit here soon."Guest: donna Date of Stay: August 2014 Review Submitted: September 11, 2014View listing
"My husband, son, daughter-in-law, two grandchildren (boy 6, girl 3), and our four legged family member enjoyed this well equipped beach house. My favorite spot was on the front deck looking towards the ocean and white-water waves. We spent one day at the Boardwalk, meeting up with a family who came back to the house for dinner. We ended up having 2 six year old boys, celebrating their birthday together. Our family enjoys cooking and appreciated your complete kitchen and the fact that your refrigerator was well stocked with basic items. We enjoyed walks on Twin Lakes Beach and having coffee at the "Kind Grind". We had a great dinner at Johnnies Harbor View Resturant, walking distance from the house. Their menu included "sand dabs" which happen to be one of my favorites. I always pack some towels, incase our rental does not have sufficient, but we never took them out of the trunk of our car. Your towels, bath and kitchen, were more than adequate. My only regret; we could not stay longer. We all look forward to returning. Thanks for sharing your Beach House."Guest: Beach Fan Date of Stay: September 2014 Review Submitted: September 10, 2014View listing
"I would just like to thank Brian and Shebreh for giving us the opprotunity to stay at their National Street Apartmet. We stayed two nights over Easter weekend. The location was excellent. It was easy walking distance to the Warf and downtown. The neighborhood is very quite with very little traffic. The apartment itself apears very well maintained. We had no issues at all. The owners were great to work with. I wish we could have stayed longer. We hope to stay again in the future."Guest: Zizz Date of Stay: April 2014 Review Submitted: April 21, 2014View listing
