"We were 8 that stayed in this house for our annual Ladies Reunion. The house is cheerful and well cared for. The yard is full of delicious fruit trees; various apple varieties, quince, persimmons and grapes galore! The house is flanked on either side by horse boarding corrals housing the friendliest horses. The bedrooms are spacious and well appointed with comfortable beds. We chose this house for its central location to downtown Santa Ynez and Los Olivos.
Most of our time was spent in the kitchen and roomy dining area. There was plenty of space for everyone to move around and participate and contribute to all the meals without feeling cramped or in each others way. There is plenty of stemware, flatware, dinnerware and even a crock pot which we were excited to find and use. There are 2 refrigerators to keep food cool. It's a perfect getaway home."

"A very cute two bedroom cottage attached to the main residence. Very well stocked with pots and pans and dinnerware. The owners are very thoughtful and accommodating. The pool and hot tub were a delight as well as the patio & BBQ. Unfortunately California is in a very long drought so there was NO green grass to be found and the temperatures for the first half of our stay were very hot with no AC available."

"The pictures are great, but the house is even better! Once we saw it we tried to make sure we spent some additional time there so we could enjoy the house. It is so beautiful and comfortable. I would stay again in a heartbeat."

"We stayed for 2 nights with another couple. The location of the house is fantastic, about equal distance to Solvang and Los Olivos (<10 mins). The layout of the house is a bit awkward as there is a door that connects the 2 bedrooms and I don’t think there is a lock. The bathroom is sort of a jack-and-jill but the second door connects to the pantry. It’s very strange and waking up early or in the middle of the night, we were walking into each other’s bedrooms instead of the bathroom or out the room because there are so many doors that all connect to each other. Also one of the 2 doors to the bathroom didn’t have a lock which made sharing the bathroom a bit uneasy. The pizza oven was a lot of fun. Unfortunately we didn’t realize that all of the supplied fire wood was stacked BEHIND the oven and we didn’t see it until the morning when we were checking out. Our pizzas didn’t really come out because we couldn’t get it hot enough. They leave detailed instructions on how to use it, but not about the location of the wood. The house is very well stocked and we weren’t missing anything – olive oil, salt, pepper, flour, corn meal, coffee, tea, etc. They have a pitcher water filter in the fridge too. The day you check in, make sure you swing by the amazing Finley Farms Farmstand (1702 Refugio Rd) to stock up on organic fruit and veggies!! They are AMAZING!!"
