  • My only regret is not staying longer!

"This is our 2nd annual vacation at this rental because- its fabulous! After everything was so new and wonderfully stylish & chic last year, I wondered if it would be maintained throughout a year of visitors and was so pleased to find everything as delightful as when it was brand new, in fact there were even upgrades and new items! This is not your run of the mill beach cottage, its like a clean luxury boutique hotel with every little amenity you could imagine! We stayed with a zillion kids and adults yet never felt cramped due to the well arranged house, and deck with sand pit for the little kiddies. I love that there were so many toys and boogie boards there, we never had to leave! You can't put a price on complete serenity and knowing these owners truly want every guest to have a luxury experience!"

  • Wonderful Family Get Together!

"The Faria beach house is wonderful. The views are spectacular. We enjoyed the sound of the crashing waves at night and exploring the tide pools with our kids in the morning. Everyday we would go for walks on the beach. The beach was never crowded. The house was clean and well stocked. There were lots of towels, extra bedding, and paper products. The washer and dryer came in handy. We grilled just about everyday-plenty of propane. Our entire family ranging from 14 years old to 73 had a great time. We were very comfortable. The house is really charming and was perfect for our extended family get together. There is a lot of seating indoors and outdoors. The upper deck was a nice place to hang out. We enjoyed trips into Ventura for kayaking in the harbor and bike rides as well as trips to beautiful Santa Barbara for a sunset cruise on a sailboat and a visit to Stearn's Wharf. We visited a couple wineries as well. You can have the best of both scenarios- a relaxing time on a quiet beach or a short drive either south or north for all sorts of activities. We had lovely weather between 70-73 all week. We appreciate the fact that the owner allowed us to bring our little dogs too. I would certainly stay here again and I recommend it to others."

  • Spectacular setting!

"Stayed here for a sisters get-away and loved every minute of it. The house looked just like it was advertised (albeit on the small side) and the deck is simply incredible (most of your time will be spent outdoors). We couldn't have asked for better weather - sunny and warm/hot every day. Lots of great restaurants/shopping close by. Just an hour or so away from amazing wineries in Santa Ynez. Solvang is a great day trip. I would suggest going up the San Marcos pass but come back on the 101 to make the complete loop. Favorite restaurants were Lure Fish House (Ventura) and the Padero Beach Grill (Carpenteria). Great views from the outdoor patio at the Biltmore 4 Seasons hotel in Montecito. The beach was great for afternoon walks when the tide was out. It was fantastic when the tide was in during the evening hours as the water came up onto the deck and the noise was wonderful from the waves. Although the train goes by several times a day, it was quick and you rarely heard it. Would have liked 2 full bathrooms but we made it work with 4 sisters. Highly recommend! Great freeway access halfway between Ventura and Santa Barbara. Less than an hour drive from the Burbank airport."

Ventura Travel Tips

Ventura Rentals Give You a Distinct Advantage

Ventura, California is a quintessential beach community that will provide you with an authentic California beach experience. There are numerous Ventura rentals in the local area from which to choose, providing you with ample opportunities to explore the beach and beyond in complete comfort. While there are plenty of Ventura lodging options scattered up and down the beach including hotels, Ventura vacation rentals give you the distinct advantage of space and amenities.

Ventura Rentals Are Never Far from the Action

Just after arriving at their Ventura lodging choices, most people immediately head to the promenade. This is the place to be in Ventura. The Ventura Pier, never more than just a few steps from most Ventura vacation rentals, offers a host of seafood restaurants as well as a chance to get in some serious fishing. For even more fishing fun, consider dropping by the Ventura Harbor Village and Marina which is the perfect place for renting a boat or hiring a fishing charter. The village also boasts a variety of restaurants and shops, and is situated not far from most Ventura rentals. Of course, if you want to get in a little activity, it is also the ideal place to rent a bike and pedal along the beach in the balmy breezes.

Catch Some Waves near Ventura Lodging

When it comes to shopping, there are plenty of options as well near Ventura vacation rentals. California Street is home to a small but colorful shopping district featuring a variety of shops and antique stores, not far from most Ventura rentals. Of course, since this is California, there are also several surf shops as well. If you are interested in catching some waves, you will be in good company.

Take a Day Trip from Ventura Vacation Rentals

The Channel Islands are situated close enough so you can actually see the islands from many Ventura vacation homes. They are ideal for a daytrip from California coast lodging in Ventura; on the islands, you can enjoy snorkeling, diving, bird-watching and swimming. Take a picnic and make an entire day of it before you head back to your comfortable and relaxing Ventura rental home.
