  • Outstanding Rental in Beautiful Pierpont Beach, Ventura

"My family has been renting in Pierpont Beach for the past several summers. We all agree(8 of us) that Sue and Mike's home and hospitality win hands down! Everything from the welcoming bottle of wine and personal note to the very comfy beds and crisp linens to the jacuzzi nights on the very large and comfortable patio to the decorator paint and touches in each room were 1st Class. We also enjoyed having the Granny Flat for extra sleeping. I wanted to sneak a night's sleep there too! As we were sitting on the front patio our last morning and moaning about having to leave, my 41/2 year old grandson looked at me and said,"Grammie, I think you should move out of your house so that we can all live in this one!" We enjoyed paddle boarding, surfing, taking the Amtrak to Santa Barbara and just sitting on the patio with good barbecue and many rounds of Uno. We also want to recommend Beach House Tacos on the Ventura Pier. We can't wait to go back. Thank you Sue and Mike Marianne & Rich and Family"

  • Happy family

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Faria. The house was exactly what we needed to make our vacation memorable. It was clean and very comfortable. We shared the house with another couple and it worked out great. My husband loved the BBQ and he made us 3 wonderful dinners that we were able to enjoy outside as well as at the large dining table. The beach was wonderful and we were able to enjoy the rocky shore as well as the sandy beach within walking distance. We saw lots of wildlife including dolphins, tons of birds and our kids even a close encounter with a small whale while they were surfing! When it was time to go, our kids didn't want to leave!! We would definitely recommend this location to everyone."

  • Seaside Joy

"Rating Details: I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. I was very happy with the location. The vacation rental was very clean. The property manager was very helpful. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This property is grand in its location and its physical layout. It was so easy go back and forth to the beach, maybe a minute and half at the most. You are able to enjoy the sunrise and the sunsets. It seems as though the beach/ocean is just your extended yard. It is located in a very quiet friendly neighborhood. We had the opportunity to eat at some great restaurants as well as go on a trip to the Channel Island. We have been to other retreats to the ocean and this is without a doubt the most joyful. Traffic is minimal; it is not overwhelming as it is to the south of LA. We want to come back as we did not have time to enjoy all the activities we had planned. We were snoozing on the beach and relaxing. All members of my family; teenagers and adults loved our time at "99 Steps To The Sea"."

Ventura Travel Tips

Ventura Rentals Give You a Distinct Advantage

Ventura, California is a quintessential beach community that will provide you with an authentic California beach experience. There are numerous Ventura rentals in the local area from which to choose, providing you with ample opportunities to explore the beach and beyond in complete comfort. While there are plenty of Ventura lodging options scattered up and down the beach including hotels, Ventura vacation rentals give you the distinct advantage of space and amenities.

Ventura Rentals Are Never Far from the Action

Just after arriving at their Ventura lodging choices, most people immediately head to the promenade. This is the place to be in Ventura. The Ventura Pier, never more than just a few steps from most Ventura vacation rentals, offers a host of seafood restaurants as well as a chance to get in some serious fishing. For even more fishing fun, consider dropping by the Ventura Harbor Village and Marina which is the perfect place for renting a boat or hiring a fishing charter. The village also boasts a variety of restaurants and shops, and is situated not far from most Ventura rentals. Of course, if you want to get in a little activity, it is also the ideal place to rent a bike and pedal along the beach in the balmy breezes.

Catch Some Waves near Ventura Lodging

When it comes to shopping, there are plenty of options as well near Ventura vacation rentals. California Street is home to a small but colorful shopping district featuring a variety of shops and antique stores, not far from most Ventura rentals. Of course, since this is California, there are also several surf shops as well. If you are interested in catching some waves, you will be in good company.

Take a Day Trip from Ventura Vacation Rentals

The Channel Islands are situated close enough so you can actually see the islands from many Ventura vacation homes. They are ideal for a daytrip from California coast lodging in Ventura; on the islands, you can enjoy snorkeling, diving, bird-watching and swimming. Take a picnic and make an entire day of it before you head back to your comfortable and relaxing Ventura rental home.
