  • Paso Weekend

"Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Stay over weekend between business trips. We used the house as our base for a three day weekend. An excellent experience. The home is somewhat dated but the kitchen and the deck view are wonderful. So if you like to cook this is a great place. It's a very fair price for the value. Moments away from the Planet Fittness where we worked out each morning. Close to the Catholic Church for mass. Wineries within fifteen minutes. Everything in the place is labeled for you so you can't screw it up. It was exactly as it was represented on the web site. Nothing is 100% and the shower in one of the bedrooms was in need of repair. We called it in but it did not get fixed....but hey we were flexible and I will come back.<br/>Really clean, great towels, orderly and a wonderful place. Highley recommend."

  • Elegant Home with Stunning Views

"Over the years our family has rented several vacation homes along the Pacific Coast and without reservation, this one was the best. The photos accurately depicted its elegance. The open concept - kitchen, dining room and family room provided lots of space to spread out while still allowing us to be together. The location of all bedrooms on the second floor ensured that both early risers and late sleepers had their needs met. It was easy to settle in and start a routine - walking the beach looking for treasures each morning, preparing meals together throughout the day, and relaxing on the patio watching dolpins, seals, and birds when not distracted by the spectacular sunsets. The owners were friendly and easy to work with. They left clear house management instructions and were available to answer questions throughout our stay. Furnishings were family friendly and the kitchen was well stocked with cookware and dishes. It was also great having a washing machine and dryer available. Although we love variety, this place is and will be on the top of our list for visits to Santa Cruz and Monterey."

  • Comfort and nice touches

"My husband and I with our three married childen spent a 3-day weekend here. What impressed me was it felt like coming to a friend's house who trusted you to take care of their home so we had the appliances, dishes, linens and homey touches you would have in your own home. I've stayed in other rentals where you feel like the cast offs are used, but here, you feel like they have shared their best with you. The beds and linens were all comfortable and since we cooked all our meals there, we enjoyed the wonderful gas stove, high end dishwasher and fridge. We also enjoyed having a grill. The deck and chairs were a great place to hang out. The basics of spices for cooking, condiments and other cooking needs were also there. There was a drawer full of containers fro taking home our leftovers, which is a rare thing to find. There are a couple of things to keep in mind. We ended up driving to the beach because the walk back was steep but it was fairly close. The table in the house is for four people and the deck table for six. The living room is cozy and comfortable with a lovely fireplace. Seating was limited for 8 adults though, but the chairs were available. I highly recommend this house for families who enjoy cooking, nice things and close proximity to the beach. I exceeded our expectations in its comfort, decor and extra touches."
