  • Fabulous R&R

"My husband and I enjoyed a lovely stay at Surfsong! We are accounting professionals and booked Surfsong for our post-tax season decompression get-a-way. It was perfect! The location is fantastic--an easy walk to an incredible beach and wildlife preserve, but also central to local sights, like Carmel mission and Monterey Bay Aquarium. The house is private, quiet, extremely comfortable, well-appointed (down to a bookcase stocked with local bird-watching guides to history on Carmel/Monterey to things to do and see), and very clean. The garden is a lovely respite and great for watching the local birds (we loved the beautiful scrub jays that frequented the garden). We brought groceries and food, but there are amenities very close by for re-stocking, as well as great restaurants. This is a great value and Phil is terrific!"

  • Perfect vacation home!

"My husband and I brought our 2 small children and nanny to SB and stayed at this house. The house had such a gorgeous view and had every last thing needed for a stay! We had plenty of room for all of us and beds to spare! The furniture and decor was tasteful and comfortable! And my kids loved the playground/park right across the street! We will be back!!"

  • Home away from home

"We love traveling to destination spots like Morro Bay and SLO but love staying in quiet non touristy areas. This place provided exactly that and more. Home away from home while vacationing with the family. Great quiet & cozy town with friendly people everywhere. Beautiful custom home with charm and privacy. Plenty comfy for 6 active people. Loved the furnishings, feel and decor. Bathrooms and kitchen were spacious, bright and clean. Spa and dry sauna and outdoor shower were heavenly after long days hiking and sightseeing. We LOVED our stay, were excited for this great find and would return every time to this home if re visiting Central Coast."
