"It was the best vacation the kids and I had. It was wonderful being altogether in one place. Boating, wake boarding, fishing, so much to do. Then winding down in the evening to a great bar-b-que and relaxing in the pool where just some of the high lights. We will definitely come back in the future. The owners were great as well."

"I stayed at the cottage in January 2015 and had such a comfortable and relaxing time. I only had a chance to stay a couple of days but definitely plan to go back sometime. Joanie was very accommodating and so nice, the cottage if very well kept up and is just cute. The fireplace place made it so cozy, it was hard to leave in the mornings! The location is very special as well, who can say they stayed in a orchard very often.
Thanks again Joanie, look forward to another visit!"

"Comfortable and secluded house on a lovely property. My husband and I, plus my two adult sons stayed in this property for 4 days while attending graduation events at UC Davis. The house was clean and comfortable, and the kitchen well stocked with dishes for eating and cooking - enough that we were able to host a small graduation dinner for 10 people. We had two bicycles with us, and found the cycling on the rural roads to be excellent. An easy 10 minute drive brought us right to the university and downtown Davis. The only thing lacking (as noted in a previous review) were toilet paper, kleenex, paper towels, and laundry soap."

"I am afraid that writing a great review will mean we never get to book our new favorite Delta Getaway Cottage in the future. So, it is really tempting to write a bad review so we can have the place all to ourselves. Something tells me that would create some bad juju... The truth is this: this place is an absolute gem. Cozy. Clean. Quiet. Secluded. Scenic. Perfectly appointed. Owners are great. Cool kids and loved meeting Dottie.
So much cool stuff to do in the area, too. We bring our ski boat up, park it at Walnut Grove Marina, and enjoy the Delta by land and waterway...and get in some skiing. Our visit coincided with Rio Vista Bass Festival. Lots of boats out, which made skiing a little more challenging, but also lots of fun stuff to do. We particularly enjoyed the fireworks from the deck at The Point Restaurant.
Hope to return soon...and hope you have availability."
