A breath-taking place to keep everyone entertained
"We wanted a place to take a foreign exchange student, our high school grandchildren, our son and his wife for a memorable Easter. This was the perfect place! The dock was perfect for our boat and fishing. Steamboat Slough produced thirty five catch and release fish for the kids and I caught a stripper off the dock. The front yard was used for "catch" football, the hot tub was a favorite hangout, and when it rained, the pool table was the place to be. My wife enjoyed the big screen TV's and king sized beds. You have to see and experience this home to fully understand your luck in making this choice. Everything you need to "walk in and enjoy". Facebook is flooded with pictures and the "likes" keep piling up. We will be booking again!"

Very unique rural destination, close to Davis and other suberbs......love dog friendly!
"My husband and I and our golden retriever enjoyed our stay at this fun ranch. We were expecting two more guests, but we enjoyed the quiet, relaxed setting and excellent location. The surroundings are so beautiful with the horses, chickens, vegetable gardens and fruit trees but so close to Davis and Vacaville. We were thrilled to get fresh vegetables delivered to our door. The only small down side was no paper towels, kleenex, clothes detergent (they were delivered near the end of our stay). We will definitely consider another stay at this fun location."

"We were looking for a quiet place with plenty of room for our visit to the Sequoias and this place worked great. The kids loved being able to stay on a farm and had a blast playing hide-n-seek in all the rooms. They also provided plenty of food for breakfast and lots of farm fresh fruit. We felt very comfortable having our kids there, which is always a big deal for us. It is good to know that this is an old farmhouse and although they have kept it up nicely, it will have its own farmhouse charms. It feels a lot like staying at your grandma's house, which we liked. But if you are looking for something more modern and with less quirks, you might be disappointed. Our last night there, there was also a wedding on the property which was definitely inconvenient, but the owner was great at stepping up and making things right. The house is a reasonable distance between Kings Canyons and Sequoias making it easy to get to both, but the large trees are actually about an hour+ drive away from the entrance, so it isn't as close as staying in the park itself."

"My wife and I stayed for a week. Owners are easy to communicate with and had everything clean and ready when we arrived. Good firm beds, Well equipped kitchen, terrific shaded patio where we ate most meals, strong Wifi, easy drive/bike ride to UC Davis, stores, restaurants and more. Pool was too cold to use, but looks inviting. We'll return."
