"I believe this is our third year at this casitas, at Rams Hill. As other people have mentioned the east facing patio is one of the things we love. Breakfast is a joy when sitting out there. The late afternoons are shaded and the casitas protects you from the winds. Wonderfully appointed and very comfortable place. This particular casitas is the only place we'll stay, if it's just the two of us."

"We rented the house for my daughter's birthday! The house was more than what we expected! I almost hate to write a review because we will want to stay there again and selfishly would not want to see it become to popular!!
The main problem with the house--no one wanted to go out and do anything--it was so relaxing just hanging by the pool!! We did manage to hike the "Slot" and Palm Canyon--2 short easy hikes--which were pretty cool--but more so with the anticipation of heading back to the house afterwards and relaxing by and in the pool!!"

"We held our annual Thanksgiving week get-together at this beautiful, spacious, light-filled home across the street from the DeAnza golf course. We had room for 5 couples and 3 kids plus a few extras came over for Thanksgiving dinner. The house is well-equiped and maintained. While we experienced problems heating the pool, the owners promise to repair and are great to work with. We rented bikes downtown and enjoyed excursions to see the desert sculptures."

"Six adults and one baby stayed during a week of 106*-116* heat! It was a fabulous week regardless. We came with a dune buggy group. The others stayed at the Del Sol motel. We figured out quickly, to start our adventures each day at 4 am. An hour by the pool, watching the stars turn off, looking for the road runner and bunny that made the rounds each morning, a leisurely swim, early breakfast, pack lunches, and be off with the group by 6-6:30am each day. We timed our trips to be back at the compound around 1pm. The air conditioning made for an enjoyable nap for all. Evenings held dinner in town or cooked at home in the well stocked kitchen. Of course evening swims for all! We had cable for the t.v. watchers, and plenty of reading material . Also generous bedroom sizes to allow for private space. There were many outside entertainment options for cooler weather. Even with the extreme heat, it was a very chill experience and no one wanted to go home!"
