"Probably the best-equipped VRBO we have rented; the kitchen, linens and towel supply, laundry, toys, electronics -- left us with nothing to do but enjoy living there! Master bed was very comfortable (just the two of us, we didn't use the second bedroom), as was the furniture in the living area. The place is small but not cramped and the windows give it plenty of light! The shared pool was good-sized, one could do laps, or just float . . . the other owners weren't there so we had it all to ourselves. Surrounding community is quiet and nice; surprisingly private despite being on the golf course."

"Loved this home! Everything about this home was perfect. The location, the views, the beds, the kitchen, the couches, chairs, tvs, bathrooms/showers... The front patio with views of the golf course and lake w/ Canadian Geese and the mountains due West were mesmerizing day and night... We actually made friends with a roadrunner(these birds are prehistoric wild animals) that came right up on the porch. The lighting in this home is excellent for reading or can be toned down for tv... Or completely turned off for star gazing from the recliners on the deck. We saw shooting stars all 4 nights we were there after the moon went down... We had read that there was objectional noise from the golf course equipment, but only heard mowers or blowers for maybe 10 minutes or so, every other day. Not a problem at all. We were not able to play golf anywhere in Borrego due to over-seeding of the ALL the courses... Oh well, had a great time anyway down at the pool and hanging at the house. The 2 bedrooms are seperated nicely for privacy and I think this home is perfect for a couple, 2 couples, or a small family... We really enjoyed this beautiful home and would/will go back in a heartbeat... Loved Borrego, love the house! Thanks"

"We truly enjoyed our two weeks of comfort, relaxation and quiet at your villa in Ram's Hill, for the second year! We love the tile floors, fully equipped/updated kitchen and bathrooms, comfy beds, open great room, wonderful (2) patio areas and beautiful view. We always sleep with our bedroom slider open so the frogs in the pond below us, and the coyotes in the surrounding desert, can serenade us to sleep. An added plus is the wonderful folks we have met in the neighborhood! Borrego Springs is a great place for hiking, biking , golf and more golf -the new Ram's Hill course is incredible and challenging (though a bit $$) - you can also find great deals and fairways at other golf courses in town. The property (inside and out) is clean, well maintained and has an artsy feel. We like the small town "vibe" of Borrego - farmer's market, small restaurants, friendly local people and little traffic. Surrounded by Anza-Borrego State Park adds to it's allure and provides opportunities for many workshops, lectures, guided hikes, etc if one has an interest in astronomy, geology, history, native ethnography... We are looking forward to our next stay at your lovely desert home!"

"We enjoyed staying at the cassita in Borrego Springs. The cassita was clean and nicely decorated. We did not have a lot of time to enjoy some of the amenities that were available because we were at the state park with family but they looked good and were tempting. The beds were comfortable. Due to last minute changes my sister and her husband stayed with us--they got the hide-a-bed. They said they were very comfortable there. (A son and his wife were in the second bedroom.)
We arrived at Ram's Hill much later than expected so there was no guard to let us in. I called the owner and she was very nice and helpful about finding an alternate way of getting in.
The bathrooms were a nice size. We enjoyed not sharing with our guests.
I would recommend this cassita to anyone going to Borrego Springs. I heard a woman asking about options other than a motel at Borrego Springs so I went and told her about where we were staying. It sounded wonderful to her. She was paying about the same price for a regular motel room.
This cassita is not in the downtown area. It is about 7-10 miles away but we would definitely like to stay there again."
