Recent Indio reviews

  • Christmas in the Desert

"My family of 5 just enjoyed our "best ever" Christmas holiday in Indio! The house was our home for the holidays and lived up and even surpassed our hopes and expectations. The pictures and earlier reviews in VRBO sold me on selecting this home over others and the process of getting contracted with the Owners couldn't have been quicker or easier and they are a delight to do business with. We arrived on Christmas Day with travelers making their was from Miami, New York and LA. We were five plus our little dog Rocky - who just loved the freedom of roaming the house and the backyard! The codes to get in the gates and the front door key location were known to us and the arrival was flawless and easy. Our first impressions were - "Wow! This place is nicer than the photos!" We felt immediately at home and made the place ours! We filled up the fridge and pantry by shopping nearby at Trader Joes and Stater Bros. and enjoyed the kitchen and grill for several nights of cooking-in. It seemed the restaurants, movies, shopping and other adventures were nearby and relatively simple to find. The location was simply perfect. Speaking of adventures, we made our way 3 times to Palm Desert and the hills outside town near the Bighorn Country Club and went hiking on the "Art Smith Trail." It was fantastic, relatively strenuous and super exercise - but we were able to do it with ages 26-56 enjoying it immensely. So, we plan to return and as the patriarch of the adult group - I thrived at hearing so often how much every family member loved "our Indio home" and how they all want to come back and how we had just experienced our "best ever Christmas" together."

  • excellent hosts

"We stayed at this location for 3 months January to March 2014. The owners were excellent hosts, not intrusive but checked in enough to show they cared. The home was exceptionally clean, with all carpets cleaned at our arrival. They provide a book outlining the amenities in the area, much appreciated. The listing photos more than adequately outlined the property, which was close to the activity center and pool. Potential renters can deal in confidence with these owners."

  • Beautiful home

"We had a wonderful time staying in Sun City, Shadow Hills. This home is beautiful and kept in great condition. The owners are very accommodating . This development has so much to do. Activities are available in the clubhouses as well as golf courses available for play at a low cost. Weather is amazing...sunshine all the time. A great get away."

  • Simple digs for Coachella

"Our group of 8 stayed here for coachella 2014 (with 2 on air mattresses/couches). The house is clean, well laid out, good kitchen. The house is located within biking distance to the venue. We loved being able to ride our bikes over and avoid all the traffic! There is a pool close (long walk or short bike ride) which was also great. Owner & property manager were pleasant and easy to deal with."

Indio Travel Tips

Indio Rentals Allow You to Experience the Adventure of the Southwest

Indio is a popular region of the southwestern United States, and Palm Springs, California is included in it. Any plan to tour this area and stay in Indio rentals offers both the romantic couple and the entire family plenty to see and do on their upcoming vacations.

Reserve Indio Rentals and Explore Local Deserts and Parks

Indio resorts allow you to designate a location as "home base" while you explore the many surrounding national parks and deserts you may have only read about until now. The Mojave Desert and Colorado Desert meet in the middle of Indio to create some of the most breathtaking views and natural landscapes known in the world. Palm Springs lodging also places you near the Joshua Tree National Park for a fun day of exploring the most unusual natural surroundings.

Schedule a Day Trip from Indio Resorts

Although Indio rentals offer almost everything your heart could desire while away from home, many travelers choose to visit nearby cities and areas during their stay too. Indio resorts will serve as your private resting places after visiting the George S. Patton Memorial Museum, or Quartzsite, AZ, both within easy driving distance of Palm Springs lodging.

Learn about Other Cultures near Palm Springs Lodging

Perhaps one of the most interesting things you can do while on vacation is to learn as much as possible about another culture and their customs. The Aqua Caliente Indian Reservation is located only minutes from Indio rentals, and allows the entire family to learn something new.

Choose Indio resorts that offer shuttles to and from the reservation, and you won’t need to bother with your own transportation either. Palm Springs lodging options may be located as near or as far from any of these attractions as you please to create a vacation that is truly one-of-a-kind.
