  • Great place, great value

"I'd recommend this place to anyone looking to sleep up to 8 people on a budget. It was very close to 29 palms and not far at all from anywhere in Joshua Tree Park. It's clean, with yards (horseshoes!) There are two lovely places to BBQ and have a big ol fire pit. Clean linens, comfy beds, plenty of games, interesting videos and books, dishes, towels etc. It is not a dark-sky location, as there are lights from the nearby military base. owner was very nice and lovely to work with!"

  • Unique getaway in great location

"The place is a dream for everybody not wanting five star luxury but a unique getaway in a great location. The authentic vintage interior as well as the great collection of old cars, trailers and neon lights outside (among other collectibles) makes you feel very special when spending time there. The views and landscape are stunning. And sitting in the back of the house barbecueing can only be topped by dipping into the old metal tub with a good bottle of beer... From a more practical perspective, the house is just minutes away from the Joshua Tree National Park entrance. And should anybody like to horse ride - the friendly neighbors did show up by horse one evening and offered tours by horse. If we did this again, we would definitely spend more time there (we just had two days left this time). Oh, and the kids loved sleeping in the vintage trailer. And all the critters that keep coming to the house in search of food."

  • Our Desert Home Away From Home

"We loved Miriam's home. She has impeccable style -- super comfortable but totally hip and fun. My girlfriend and I made it our home base while we went and explored Joshua Tree. The Park is incredible but we were always excited to get back to the home base too! We felt totally at ease in the house--very user friendly. It's cool during the day but cozy at night. The backyard, patio, and outdoor hot tub are all heaven. The bed is super comfy, as well as the couches in the living area. The kitchen is well equipped and the bathroom is nice with plenty of big fluffy towels. No complaints! Also, Miriam was so patient and helpful with all of our questions about the Park, the town, her house, etc. We bugged her quite a bit before the trip and she was very prompt and thorough with her responses. You could tell she genuinely wanted us to have a good time. And we did! We can't wait to go back. We love your home Miriam! It's amazing! Thank you!"

  • Beautiful Bungalow in the Desert

"Great bungalow in the desert. We were visiting Joshua Tree Park and stayed at the bungalow for a couple of days. It was very convenient and a short drive to get to the park. In addition the the most perfect accommodations, all the communications and transaction with the owner went smoothly and without and problems. The bungalow was clean and provided all the items we could need for out stay. Highly recommend this bungalow."
