  • Great house

"This was my first VRBO rental and I was absolutely delighted how well it worked out when we rented this place out on this labor day weekend.James and the property manager Kenny were "#awesome" in getting everything ready before we arrived..They were very prompt on replying back to our emails and our phone calls. We liked it very much and we definitely will rent the same place again on our next trip to palm springs(and it will happen when the weather outside is not 8000 degrees)..LOL..Thank you once again for being so responsible in taking care of people who rent your property.Cheers and hugs."

  • Great place!

"This was an amazing place to stay for the 5 days we were in Palm Springs. The owner and staff are fantastic, very helpful and friendly. The Estate was such a wonderful change from staying in a hotel. We stayed in Casa Antigua and had our own kitchen, sitting area, patio and could walk out our door into the pool. Everything was immaculate, inside and out. It was like an oasis from the city but very close to Palm Canyon Drive where there are wonderful restaurants, stores, galleries and even some live entertainment. After staying here I don't want to stay in a hotel again! The decor and grounds are a feast for the senses and the staff and owner are interesting and entertaining hosts who make you feel welcome within minutes. I would highly recommend this place and am looking forward to going back myself. It was a home away from home, except better!"

  • Lovely, relaxing, unique get-away

"This unique property is a perfect family get-away because it is two identical homes joined by a central entry. The two kitchens make it easy for families to function. The home offers quiet areas, as well as large family gathering places around the pool or on the elevated patios. The casita is perfect for teens or the sports-minded who can gather there without bothering anyone. Owner Ruby met us promptly for an early check-in which gave us a complete afternoon of fun around the lovely and secluded pool. There is plenty of seating and three umbrellas for sun protection. In the evening, the outdoor gas fireplaces lent an ambiance of total relaxation. Wi-Fi, icemakers, coffee pots, a/c, comfy beds, nearby restaurants and the lovely town make this an easy place to go for a very long weekend. We are already planning a return trip with several friends."

  • Our Happy Place (:

"This was the second time that my husband and I and our two dogs have stayed here and we have decided that for as long as Chuck, the owner, will allow, we will continue to make this our annual, if not bi-annual retreat. We love this place so much. From the minute the car pulls into the fully secluded front gate and closes, it feels like you're in your own private oasis, complete with luscious green grass (which is rare in the desert) and beautiful citrus and palm trees and a nice tall hedge which surrounds the property. We immediately feel relaxed especially knowing that our hounds are free to roam about safely. The house itself is the perfect quintessential mid-century modern style home that you would expect to see in Palm Springs with all the amenities you need and a nice updated kitchen. The floor plan is open and airy and all the rooms except for one bedroom looks out onto the luscious backyard and swimming pool. If you're traveling with another couple, it's great because one of the bedrooms and bathrooms is on the opposite side of the house. We always breathe a sigh of relief when we step into the light filled living room and lay eyes on the backyard. The backyard is why we chose this property to begin with and it is exactly what you see in the pictures. Nothing beats waking up in the morning and having coffee on one of the double lounge chairs facing the gorgeous views of the San Jacinto mountains. Similarly, nothing beats having cocktails in the same spot and watching the sun set over the same mountains. There are no ugly cable lines in view and all you see are the palm trees and the beautiful landscape. This is our happy place. We swim, the hounds swim and we all take plenty of naps. Speaking of which, the beds are all very comfortable especially the one in the master bedroom. I described it as "sleeping on a soft billowy cloud of wonderful". We get plenty of relaxation here. As for location, it is located within walking distance to the main street in Palm Springs where all the restaurants and shops are although I have to admit that we drive more than we walk (: Downtown Palm Springs has so many great restaurants with our faves being Trio (the closest to the house), Lulu's, Johannes and Pommes Frites, and if you're a dog owner, all of these restaurants will allow you to dine with your pet. Lastly, the owner and his local manager are always accessible in case there is an issue. I highly recommend this property for your next visit to Palm Springs."
