  • Very Private, Great Location

"This truly is a one-of-a-kind Mid Century Home with an excellent location in south Palm Springs. It has a very private outdoor pool area, providing a great spot to relax and dine. The grapefruit trees were an added bonus providing fresh grapefruit every morning. The home is extremely well equipped with games, books and a kitchen where you will find anything you need for meal preparation. There are 2 master bedrooms at opposite ends of the house making it ideal to share with your guests. The home was very clean when we arrived, in fact we hired the house keeper to clean for us a few times during our 6 week stay. We found Wayne easy to deal with and very accommodating . We would highly recommend a stay."

  • Great Family Fun!

"It was great to arrive at this vacation rental with no surprises. The listing description and photos were accurate and the home is even better in person. The pool was amazing and the hardest part of being at this home was having to leave! What a terrific family stay, we will be back."

  • Sanctuary in the Desert

"What an incredible four days we had in this spectacular Mid-Century home in the Twin Palms neighborhood of Palm Springs. This spacious three bedroom offered all the amenities and more with its open layout and fabulous brand new kitchen. The home was so clean, nicely furnished, and beautifully maintained - there wasn't a thing we did without. The tranquil patio and backyard was an extension of the home offering plenty of seating space and an awesome view of the San Jacinto mountains. Can't say enough about the pool and spa - fabulous, allowing easy access for my elderly mother to get in and out. And in the chill of the evening, the fire pit offered the perfect setting to recap our day. The owner was incredibly accommodating and made the logisitcs a breeze. I hope this sanctuary is available when we plan our next trip to the desert."

  • Wonderful rental !

"The house is really beautiful - a totally authentic mid-century modern built in the late '50s. We would recommend it to others looking for a Palm Springs rental. As others have said, the lay out is spacious and thoughtful. The owners have taken pains to furnish it with mid-century antiques appropriate to the period and style of the house. That said, it is also comfortable and practical with all of the 20th & 21st century conveniences we wanted. The views are spectacular and the neighborhood is one of the prettiest in Palm Springs. We had a great time just walking around the Twin Palms neighborhood, admiring the beautiful architecture and mountain views. In the southern part of Palm Springs, it does not suffer from the periodic high winds you find in neighborhoods farther north. The location is really perfect ! It's within walking distance of great shopping and restaurants (we had breakfast at Earl's every morning - and Jensen's is a great supermarket), and a quick drive or Uber away from everything else Palm Springs has to offer. The pool is huge and we loved hanging out by and swimming in it. In late March/early April, we didn't even need the heater. If pressed to suggest an area for improvement, I suppose some folks would not appreciate the patina (read normal wear) found in a 60 year old house. The owners opted to retain as many of the original fixtures and materials as possible (a decision which accounts for much of the beautiful authenticity that gives the property character) so while everything works perfectly, you'll find some evidence of age around the property that some (not us) might not like. One other minor gripe was the lawn maintenance crew showing up at 7am with their leaf blowers; that would be perfectly reasonable when the summer heat takes hold, but at this time of year seemed like a bit of an early start. I'm guessing they did not clear their start time with the owners :-) I'd suggest future guests who aren't very early risers request that the owners have the lawn guys turn up a little later if possible. The owners were very responsive, gracious and easy to deal with."
