  • A favorite condo

"We have stayed at Mesquite many times, but this is one of our favorite condos. Great golf course and mountain views right from your patio. Very close to pool and hot tub. The condo was very clean and well-stocked with necessities. Previously, we stayed in upstairs units, but being downstairs has definite advantages, mainly the larger patio space. The owner is kind and helpful."

  • Great Experience!

"I'm so glad that we found this place! We knew that we wanted to stay in this area of Palm Springs as we've stayed there before and love the location. There are a lot of great restaurants, coffee shops, and hotel pool bars nearby, and downtown is a short taxi ride or a couple of stops on the Sun Bus away. We had talked to a few other people before we happened upon this listing. Daria -- the property manager for this Biltmore condo -- impressed us immediately with her professionalism, and the speed at which she answered all of our questions. And it didn't end there. She kept it up while we were visiting, making us feel welcome and helping with all of our questions. The condo itself looks even better in real life than it does in the photos. The kitchen has all of the gadgets you might need, the beds are comfortable, the condo is quiet and the balcony is outstanding! It was a fantastic place to bbq and enjoy a dinner in. We also loved the main pool area; it also has a functioning kitchen (with a fridge -- which came in handy for holding beverages to enjoy by the pool!) We'll definitely be back. Thanks, Daria!"

  • Escaping a Canadian February

"2014 was the third consecutive February we've spent in Palm Springs, and the last two, in Canyon Sands, were our favourites. We very much enjoyed the tennis courts, pools, and citrus fruit free for the picking on the premises. We always felt safe walking about the complex, whether enjoying the sun, or the starry skies at night. The location is convenient for walking to the local supermarket (Vons 5-10 minutes), or about 20 minutes to Trader Joe's and Target. Our rental car mostly stayed in the suite's garage (motorized door-opener). The layouts of the units, because each cluster is typically ranged around a common driveway and individual garages, places the entrance from the garage in a different area of the suite. This "C" unit's door is beside "the throne" for the Master Bedroom, whereas in the "A" unit we rented in 2013, one entered the Dining Room, near the kitchen. After we acclimatised to this "C" layout, we discovered we preferred it to the "A" layout! Also, this owner's furnishings and "objets d'art" are superior. The dining-for-four area is pleasantly located with its windows revealing the patio-garden-fountain. The kitchen is rather "standard" but has the beginnings of a Chef's Kitchen, with superior food-preparation knives, and cutlery. The owner obliged us by providing wireless Internet upon our request, complete with printer (for boarding passes, recipes, crossword puzzles etc.). We shared the unit with another couple quite comfortably for the middle two weeks of our stay, but luxuriated in the just-two-of-us state for our final week ... 70+ honeymooners?"

  • Cool,comfortable and retro cozy!

"Pulling up to the home it is framed with one of the most beautiful mountain vistas. Once inside it just welcomes you. For a 1600 sf floor plan every inch is utilized and designed for efficiency and beauty. What struck me was the use of windows to frame the mountains and views and capture the daylight that lit the home up like a perfect gem! The house was so quiet and comfortable. the kitchen was a wonderful experience using the original pink wall stove and stove top. Simplicity and elegance and the beauty of Mid Century architecture gives you a warm feeling and enhanced living experience. The pool and fire pit were great listening to Burt Bacharach music took us alll back to the mid sixties. It is a wonderful home to visit ample space yet everything is a short stride in the home to get to.This home being the former Ray Bradbury Palm Springs getaway home made it all that more special. It was great and would highly recommend this home."
