  • Wonderful weekend getaway!

"We came up to Sonora for a wedding at the Union Hill Inn and did not want to stay in the local hotel because of negative feedback. We were immediately impressed with the well maintained cottage on the hill with such character and welcoming aspects! Just far away enough from town so that the noise is almost none. Great accommodations with comfy beds and wonderful kitchen and porch! No driveway and a few steps to get up to the house. Well worth it! We plan to come back and actually spend time and enjoy it more!"

  • Perfect weekend getaway

"Had an amazing time hosting my friends here for Memorial Weekend. Secluded but not far from everything. Spa within steps from the front door or deck area and picturesque views of Mammoth Mountain and the Sherwin Mountains. The spacious cabin is perfect for a small group or family."

  • Lovely stay!!!

"We were so pleased with our stay at this cabin. The cabin is very clean and comfortable, and while it was only myself and my husband, I would certainly return with my kids as well. We had a very peaceful experience, especially sitting on the deck both in the evenings and mornings. The driveway was initially very interesting to negotiate, but it really wasn't so bad especially with an SUV. A low profile car might have more difficulty. Even though we had no issues, I felt confident that I could reach the owner if needed. While rustic, the cabin was in an ideal location and extremely comfortable. Suggestion: grab a pizza at Snowshoe Brewery and take it back to the cabin. Sit on the deck and enjoy dinner and a few glasses of wine (from a Murphys winery, of course). It was a very memorable weekend and I look forward to visiting again."

  • Our 2nd visit to this charming cabin . . .

"We have stayed at this property twice and it never fails to impress. The kids loves the bunk beds and cute bear towels. The internet connection is strong and the tv quality excellent. We were able to walk down to the lake and over to the Pines Resort 4th of July Celebration. The only thing that could be improved is parking. We had two large cars and space was very tight."
