  • Great condo near Canyon Lodge

"This is a great little location, walking distance to Canyon Lodge! The condo is well equipped with everything you could need in the kitchen plus extra blankets, firewood, etc. the condo is easy in-easy out because it's on the first floor which is nice when you are carrying equipment. The multiple hots tubs were great after skiing all day. I recommend this condo and hope to rent it again in the future. The owners are super nice, easy to work with and great at communicating. Thank you!!"

  • Family getaway

"We enjoyed this cozy and beautiful home! It was charming with its decor and had comfortable couches, swivel chairs and a sunlit window nook to snuggle with the kids and a warm blanket! We slept great every night in the beds and enjoyed our time cooking meals together in the kitchen! The views out the huge windows were unique to the experience. We especially liked soaking in the hot tub on the back porch. This home can be enjoyed by all!"

  • Wonderful home and owner.

"Our family of 14 decided to plan a Gold Country getaway for my parents' birthday weekend, one week before checkin. By luck, we found this place. I reached out to the owner Lissa, Who was extremely kind and accommodating in helping us to book this home on such short notice. I went to the post office with the check and contract and paid for overnight delivery, but unfortunately they lost it for a few days and it did not arrive on time. Lissa assured me that she would help me to make this happen and allowed an alternate form of deposit the day of checkin. The house is large and beautiful and really makes the most of its space. We did a lot of cooking and talking around the table, our favorite past time. The home is just down the street from a cute little village that we went jogging to in the mornings. On Saturday we spent the day in Columbia panning for gold, enjoying the old fashion café/candy store (the owner's homemade pear pies from her own personal orchard are a must!) and having affordable custom gifts made at the blacksmith shop. On Sunday we spent the day shopping in downtown Sonora, visited the old schoolhouse and cemetery in Columbia and did downtown Columbia again for the saloon and ice cream shop. Out vacation turned out great and I could not have wish for better treatment. Family members ranging from three months old to 60 years old had a great time! Lissa and her home are truly delightful and we can't wait to return."

  • Where Angels Play

"This cabin is beautiful. It's really clean, spacious, with comfy beds and furnitures. Really warm and welcoming. It's actually more of a house, with plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms, a fully functioning kitchen, a BBQ grill outside, and you can sit in the patio while enjoying the view. It's close to awesome wineries and restaurants, although just walking around the garden is a treat in itself since the surrounding is just gorgeous and you get visits from horses! We didn't want to leave. Thanks so much Carla's Cabin, we had the best time here, would love to come back soon!"
