"Our group stayed at the house this New Year 2015. Fantastic house, very convenient location - 45 minutes away from the snow in Kirkwood, same distance (just different direction) from awesome wineries, such as Villa Toscano. On the way back to the house from the wineries you can swing by Jackson Rancheria and Casino - which is quite entertaining if you miss Reno! We also shouldn't have packed all the groceries with us - Young's Payless Market is actually a pretty big grocery store where you can get anything you need for a comfortable stay. On the way back from Pioneer to our home in Monterey County we stopped by Lodi and checked out some awesome zins to just to put another checkmark on our wine-lovers' bucket list. All in all, we were incredibly pleased with our stay and the hosts, and will definitely be coming back."

"We had such a great experience renting from Steve and staying at his property. The condo was very clean, spacious, up to date and comfortable. It was also reasonably priced. St Moritz' rec room, pool and jacuzzi are an added bonus.
The owner was also very easy to work with. Steve immediately responded with questions I had leading up to our trip. We've rented through a lot of property mgmt companies, but we much preferred renting directly from the owner.
I will definitely be staying here again!"

"Midpines was absolutely wonderful. The pool and spa were clean and inviting. The house was well stocked with everything we could possibly need. The local wildlife (and not-so-wildlife) was fun to see. Sandy was always friendly and helpful. We will definitely stay again!"

"Our kids and grandkids live in the Bay Area and we live in the Seattle area. This home was the perfect place for us to meet and spend Thanksgiving together. The 4 parents and the 4 kids slept upstairs and Grandma and Grandpa stayed in the downstairs suite - perfect for all! I will never forget the delight in the grandkids' faces as they explored the trails, the tree house, the pirate ship and the game room. They live in a big city so it was wonderful to give them the freedom to run and play. We especially enjoyed watching the deer around the property. The house was furnished with everything we needed. The towels and linens were nice. We spent one day at Yosemite and the rest of our stay at the house where we found plenty to do. We could text on our phones but had no strong cell service. That turned out to be great as we forgot about our electronics and spent quality time playing games, walking and visiting. Thank you to the thoughtful owner of this gorgeous property for creating some special memories for our family."
