  • Nice Get Away

"First time in Mammoth for us. Condo is located just a 2 couple minutes from downtown. It is walking distance from one of the lodges. Simple amenities. Nothing fancy. Spacious down stairs. Cozy loft. Great TV with games for the kids. Owner was very accommodating also. Price you can't beat."

  • Fun with Family and Friends

"All I have to say is we definitely plan on coming back! The rental process was straight forward and easy. It was such a pleasure working with the owner. As for the house it was wonderful! The pictures don't really do it justice. The house is bigger in person and the "old/antique" decor suits the home. There are two large patios for entertaining/hanging out with a gorgeous view of the lake. We read reviews before deciding to rent and some of the cons that others mentioned I paid attention to during our stay. One of the minor issues I read about in a review was that the air conditioner wasn't strong enough for the entire home. The AC units may seem small but as long as you keep the doors closed the home stays cool. The home comes with many fans and if you turn those on at the same time it helps circulate the cold air. The weather ranged between 90-100 degrees during our stay and we had no issues with the AC units. Another thing that some may consider a downside would be the walk up and down to the beach. Our trip consisted of all adults between 25-40 yrs old so it wasn't much of a problem for us. It was a little exhausting because of the heat but the view from the house and the private beach were definitely worth a little exercise. The next time we go we will be bringing kids and some older parents so we already thought of a solution, if they can't climb down the hill to get to the boat we can always drive them to the boat launch around the corner and just pick them up there with the boat. We really enjoyed the use of the paddle boat and canoe. We didn't think we would use it during our stay but it turned out to be one of the highlights of our trip. Thanks for the memories and can't wait to come back! We would definitely recommend this property!"

  • Wonderful Stay!

"We recently stayed for 2 nights in Victoria's wonderful, cozy, wine country home. There were four of us (my boyfriend and I and his 2 adult daughters) and the space was perfect. It is a very interesting home with everything you could possibly need. A lovely bottle of wine was waiting for us and she also made sure we had banana nut and zucchini bread fresh from the oven. The location is perfect for anyone who knows about the Fairplay loop. It's close to all the winery's and the few restaurants in the area. We will definitely be back!"

  • Still love Mammoth

"Being a SoCal Gal Mammoth was always my go to for winer skiing and summer hiking and camping. It is still as beautiful as I remember. I moved to NorCal in 2008 and since then have been going to Tahoe-its a little less of a drive. But coming back here confirmed that Mammoth is still the BEST! Doug's condo is beautiful. The kitchen is extremely well stocked and a joy to cook in-we even used the crockpot for a yummy salpicon! The location is perfect, close enough to town but far way enough to be quiet. The bed is comfortable and the fireplace was wonderful after a day of hiking in the rain and snow-unexpected late winter spell. I would absolutely stay here again-in a heartbeat-in fact my BFF says she has never been to Mammoth-I see another trip in my future. Thanks Doug for sharing your condo. Perfection!!"
