  • Great rental- amazing vacation

"Six of us stayed in this rental comfortably for a week. We found that the house was clean and welcoming. It was about 15 minutes from yosemite valley and we enjoyed the peace and quiet in the evenings. We had many meals at the table outside taking in the view. I had an amazing vacation and some of my memories will include relaxing at the house after a great day."

  • Weekend in Murphys!!

"I rented the Queen Ann for my sisters bachelorette party. We wanted a weekend full of wine tasting and hanging out. The Queen Ann was the perfect place for us to stay! It is a wonderful house! Plenty big enough for all of us, and had a very homey feeling. The location was just great, we were able to walk everywhere. The house was very clean and had all the nessaitites we needed for the weekend. We wouldn't have changed anything. And I would definitely stay there again. Thank you to Eveyln for allowing us to use you home for the weekend!"

  • a magical place

"I am sure most reviewers have covered most of the details so i will try and keep it concise. This property is in a magical, secluded location - full stop. But there is wifi! - I didn't even know this till i got there. And a phone, but little else (no cable so if you want to watch a show, bring your laptop and stream). You will get zero cell ph here but all carriers are represented in town a few miles away (Verizon is just now installing a tower i heard). The house is comfortable for a short stay and while it's certainly not high end at all, you're also not paying high end as you know if you shopped around. I feel the price paid was well worth what we got in return. I think my singular issue was simply the dining room table, which is two fold up tables covered with a large plastic picnic table cover. It's ok, and not that i really cared, but it spoiled the ambiance of what is otherwise a cool 70s decor. Someone could get picky and say the place is outdated but i rather liked it. Some of the fixtures are waaay cool and i know people who would pay money for some of this stuff. Like i said, other than that, no complaints and if he totally fixed the place up then we'd be paying $325 a night so, i am fine on the decor! And then, of course, there's the entire reason we all choose this place - it is sitting on one of THE sweetest spots on the river (of all the rivers that flow through this area). We're actually looking for a property to buy up here so we spent two entire days driving around the area and pretty well covered it all and this spot is practically unique. PS: Best place to eat in town, hands down, is the Ol' Buckaroo. We ate there every meal and it was amazing food and being from LA I've always had a good choice of eateries so u could say ui am spoiled."

  • Amazing location for Sequioa/Kings Canyon

"I stayed here with my parents and fiance for two nights. We were blown away by the amazing decor and comforts(this place has it all) this cabin had to offer as well as the beautiful property it was located on. This is my opinion, is a dream cabin! Complete with cows, horses, sunsets, wildflowers and starlit nights! Herb came by when we arrived and informed us of all the amenities of the cabin and what the area and their land had to offer. He was kind and knowledgeable. We really enjoyed the proximity to the parks (took us about 20 to get to Kings Canyon, 45 to the big trees at Sequioa) and would recommend this place to anyone. What a wonderful time we had! Wish we weren't moving out of the state. I'd be inclined to make this a home away from home. Thanks again Sandy and Herb. Sincerely, Laura Chance Peggy and Jim."
