  • Flowers lake

"Nice getaway from city life. The cabin is well off the beaten path but just a handful of miles from Copperopolis for a trip to the store, town or dinner. The lake is literally just a half a football field from the house and the use of the aluminum boat and paddle boat makes this rental unique. The owner Steve is very responsive and if you love classic rock you will love his vinyl collection of albums that take you back to high school. The Flowers lake cottage is comfortable but not fancy, so don't over pack. TV and appliances & outside propane BBQ work awesome. You don't need much except your toiletries (shampoo and bathing soap too), a couple of good bottles of wine, some nice steaks, munchies and breakfast stuff. Towels, sheets and dishware is already there. Enjoy some time away from the city."

  • Wonderful location and home!

"We rented this home for a week and we couldn't have been more thrilled. It has everything! The minute we walked in our four teenage kids were excited at the fact that it had a pool table, ping pong table, foosball table AND air hockey table! We had our own marina for the boat and it was a short walk across the street to the dock. The clubhouse is great if you want a break from the lake as it has a pool and a hot tub along with a small fitness room! The home was situated perfectly as the master bedroom is upstairs and the rest of the rooms were downstairs so if the kids stayed up late to watch a movie we couldn't hear any of the noise that comes with having teens :) The kitchen is set up so nicely with a large island and a huge deck off the family room that seats about 8 people (perfect for dinner watching the sunset on the lake). we couldn't be more pleased with this home - it's beautiful inside and out and we will definitely rent again!"

  • Fun with Family and Friends

"All I have to say is we definitely plan on coming back! The rental process was straight forward and easy. It was such a pleasure working with the owner. As for the house it was wonderful! The pictures don't really do it justice. The house is bigger in person and the "old/antique" decor suits the home. There are two large patios for entertaining/hanging out with a gorgeous view of the lake. We read reviews before deciding to rent and some of the cons that others mentioned I paid attention to during our stay. One of the minor issues I read about in a review was that the air conditioner wasn't strong enough for the entire home. The AC units may seem small but as long as you keep the doors closed the home stays cool. The home comes with many fans and if you turn those on at the same time it helps circulate the cold air. The weather ranged between 90-100 degrees during our stay and we had no issues with the AC units. Another thing that some may consider a downside would be the walk up and down to the beach. Our trip consisted of all adults between 25-40 yrs old so it wasn't much of a problem for us. It was a little exhausting because of the heat but the view from the house and the private beach were definitely worth a little exercise. The next time we go we will be bringing kids and some older parents so we already thought of a solution, if they can't climb down the hill to get to the boat we can always drive them to the boat launch around the corner and just pick them up there with the boat. We really enjoyed the use of the paddle boat and canoe. We didn't think we would use it during our stay but it turned out to be one of the highlights of our trip. Thanks for the memories and can't wait to come back! We would definitely recommend this property!"

  • AMAZING FAMILY HOME

"My family and I had a wonderful time at this home. The house was so roomy and user friendly that we plan to stay again next summer. The access to the water was great. We were able to park our boat at the dock and access it whenever we wanted to hit the water. The bedrooms were large, the living room is full of couches and the outside patio makes the entire the vacation. Being able to play monopoly and watch TV all while sitting outside was nothing short of amazing."
