  • Beautiful well maintained home with luxury details

"Our family of 8 slept very comfortably in this beautiful home. There are many details that make the stay very comfortable. Lovely mountain art, generous toiletries including lip balm, lots of coffee choices and even a bottle of wine! We found the loft perfect for our newborn's pack n play. The TV is big and stocked with movies, and there are lots of board games to choose from. The kitchen is lovely and the large tub jets are great after a day in the snow. Wood floors and a nice fireplace. It is so close to the shuttle that will take you up to the village, the main lodge or down into town. A very nice place that feels like home."

  • The free night makes all the difference!

"We spent four nights at this condo in the Sunstone building of Juniper Springs Resort. The furnishings are nice, and the welcome chocolates were an added touch. For two people this place would be perfect. Anymore than two, and it quickly becomes cramped. There were three of us on this trip. The bathroom is small, without much space to put your toiletries. The balcony was also cramped at breakfast, as there really is only enough space for two people. The swimming pool is nice, as is the hot tub. A "great room" with an outdoor patio is also a nice feature of the building. This condo had a view of the swimming pool, which also provided plenty of noise from the loud families swimming. I don't quite understand why there is no air conditioning in these units. Perhaps because the resort favors the winter crowds. But being able to cool the condo down without having to prop two doors open would have been nice. We've rented many cabins and condos through VRBO and HomeAway. So we are quite familiar with the process. The main reason this particular rental doesn't get higher marks is because of the poor communication from the owners. The response to our questions was often very slow (24 to 48 hours), if at all. After we paid for the condo, we pretty-much didn't hear from the owner again. This was unfortunate, as we did have questions that went unanswered. Even after we checked-out, and I sent an email thanking them for the use of their condo, I never received a reply. I would recommend this resort to others because of its location, and nice amenities. And after this, our first time at Mammoth Lakes, I'm sure we will return to the area. But I'm sorry to say we won't rent from these owners again."

  • Great location at good price

"My teenage son and I went on a long weekend ski trip and shared this condo. It was in a perfect location. Everything we needed was in walking distance. The condo is really a Westin hotel room with a Kitchenette. It had good wifi and hotel amenities (shuttle to the airport, small gym, pool, jacuzzi, bell hop storage for day of checkout). The location is adjacent to the Mammoth Village complex, which has restaurants, a small market, ski rentals, ski storage and a gondola up to the Canyon Lodge area. There was no need for a rental car. The price was right, as it was basically half of what the hotel was charging for the same type of room. My son and I had a great time with no issues and we highly recommend this condo."

  • Awesome Location!

"We stayed for 3 nights and 4 days in this condo with 2 families - a total of 4 adults and 4 kids under age 7. We easily walked to The Village with shopping, restaurants, and the gondola. Short drive to plenty of other activities - walks/hikes, small and free sled hills, and open areas for snow play. The condo was clean and fully stocked with everything we needed for a really comfortable stay. Our favorite parts were the fireplace (adults) and the bunk beds (kids). We are already looking forward to staying in this same unit again for our next trip up to Mammoth."
