"We had never been to Murphys before and chose this villa because of its location to town. Let me just say, the pictures do not do it justice! This villa is gorgeous inside! Every room, every detail. We had 5 adults, 4 kids (ages 6-12) and a big German Shepard. There was plenty of room for all of us. The pool out back was perfect for the kids. It's about 3 ft deep all around. Just enough for cannon balls! We did a day of wine tasting downtown and I can honestly say that Val Du Vino has the best wine on Main Street. Jeanine and Johnathon were quickly there if we needed something. I would definitely come back here."

"I wanted to write a review because when I was booking this cabin the latest review was from years ago. Not seeing a review more recent made me a little nervous that this place had gone down hill. When we arrived the place was everything we hoped for and more. We had 8 adults, 6 kids, and 3 toddlers. Everyone slept comfortably. There's a loft w/6 twin beds that became the kids room. There was AC throughout the cabin. In the gathering rooms with TVs there were plenty of DVDs and VHS movies for adults and kids. The closet had board games which came in handy at night. It was nice BBQ'n on the deck and eating our meals outside. The backyard had 2 horse shoe pits and we had enough room to set up a badminton/volleyball net. There's a private lake down the street within walking distance but by the third day we preferred to drive down. The lake was not overcrowded and to me it was beautiful and peaceful. Some of us went swimming while some went fishing. For those that went fishing they caught about 5 fish. After the third day some of us wanted to get away from the quit for a bit so we drove 20 min down to Black Oak Casino. If you're looking for a relaxing get away to spend with the family I would recommend sugar pine cabin. The owners were super easy to book with and any time I emailed them with a question they responded usually within 24hrs."

"My husband and I vacationed in Mammoth for one week in September. What a wonderful apartment! It is very spacious and has the BEST views (from the private balcony) in all of Mammoth. The owner was so gracious and kind throughout the entire process.
The kitchen (equipped with a small stove, fridge and microwave) is thoughtfully stocked with pots/pans/cooking untensils/plates, etc and the full bathroom has plenty of towels (including two bathrobes, pool towels) and a hairdryer. The fireplace (gas) is so romantic on those chilly Mammoth nights!
The apartment is centrally located in Mammoth, within walking distance of many shops and restaurants. There is a grocery store within close driving distance. You can also easily access the mountains and lakes from this location, either by car or public transportation. There is a ski lift right at the property, but it wasn't ski season during our visit.
The property has a beautiful, large, outdoor heated swimming pool, two jacuzzis and a small gym with basic workout equipment (treadmills, ellipticals, free weights.) There is also a good restaurant on site.
A wonderful place to come for some R&R!!! We will definitely be back :-)"
