  • Incredible view

"Incredible view! No central air or heat. We unfortunately stayed during a very hot weekend, so this house with its high open ceilings just could not cool down at night, and was unbearable during the day. The kitchen is very minimal as advertised, so I don't reccomended it for a lot of food prep. The full bath is shower only. No tub. Not a comfortable living area for a family movie night. More ideal for adventure seeking adults that will be out all day but want to be at the house for gorgeous sunrise/sunset."

  • Beautiful!

"As others have described, the house is quite lovely! The grounds are beautiful. In fact, the pictures do not do it justice. Too many times the house does not live up to the expectations from the pictures but that was not the case here. The hostess of the house is quite gracious. It is close to Murphys - but away from the noise. Depending on what you want - could be perfect. When Murphys isn't totally crazy, staying downtown is fun. When it is, you need a break from the noise (like frog jumping weekend). Highly recommended!"

  • Relaxing place to stay

"The owners are the nicest people and let us have the backyard to ourselves The "cottage" is more like a furnished studio apartment with a deck, spa, pool & two gazebos!"

  • my most favorite place to stay and relax ever

"We love Murphys and try to go several times a year. We even had a family reunion there. (almost 150 people) We found the Cappelli house one of those times and have since tried to stay there every time. The good news's a great place to stay. The bad news is......lots of others must think so too because it is very busy and you need to book early if you can. Very comfortable. Absolutely fabulous retro, mid-century furniture and fitting. Great sitting areas both front and back. Walking distance to almost everywhere downtown. Very kid and dog friendly. I miss it already. My friends that came with us said,"we should make this an annual event". I said...."why not every other month". We will be back."
