  • Great location by the creek for kids!

"Our boys loved fishing, playing in the creek, riding their bikes on bike paths, and playing at nearby playground - it kept them occupied all day - worked out great for us."

  • Cozy cabin and wonderful stay

"We stayed in Susan's cabin two nights for our first Yosemite trip. This house is very cozy and clean. The environment was very unique. We have stayed in many cabin in the wood, and this one is truely in the forest and you will definitely get 100% privacy. The cabin is well stocked with everything we need during our stay. The cabin is conveniently located in between the mariposa grove and yosemite valley, and it's inside Yosemite national park. Owner Susan was very nice and patient to answer all of our questions and concern. We would highly recommend this cabin."

  • A Thankful Getaway w/ family

"A beautiful destination in the Gold Country and fairly close to many adventures in the Placerville/ Camino area. The property grounds are quite impressive with a babbling brook running behind the house. Plenty of room to roam and take in the splendor that abounds, however a wet day will chase you back inside where a cozy fire will help keep the old bones dry and warm. I think late spring and early fall would be ideal to get away to this gorgeous property and thoroughly enjoy all the outdoor amenities. Kitchen was well stocked with cooking utensils (enjoyed some amazing homemade meals),the sleeping arrangements are doable and game room enjoyable. A very good choice when getting up into the foothills for some apple picking or wine tasting!"

  • Family getaway

"We enjoyed this cozy and beautiful home! It was charming with its decor and had comfortable couches, swivel chairs and a sunlit window nook to snuggle with the kids and a warm blanket! We slept great every night in the beds and enjoyed our time cooking meals together in the kitchen! The views out the huge windows were unique to the experience. We especially liked soaking in the hot tub on the back porch. This home can be enjoyed by all!"
