  • Great Place, Wonderful Stay

"We loved this place: nice location to explore Gold (and wine) Country, beautiful outdoor areas: pool, deck, gazebo, gorgeous view of hills and river, hiking along the river available from the house. It's in a quiet neighborhood. The house was clean, private and secluded with a nice layout for 3 couples. We never used the other nice bedroom with the TV and balcony. Beds were comfy. Kitchen had all the items we needed -- and then some. There were a few minor things that we couldn't find or get to work, as in any rental -- but, that was our fault, since we didn't call for help ... because it was either so minor that we didn't care or we found a solution. Honestly, we were pretty lazy with the pool and surroundings to even bother making a call for unimportant stuff. The property manager was very helpful; we always got a quick reply to questions. It is worth noting that: -Credit cards are only accepted through PayPal, which adds a hefty fee. -The property is actually in Valley Springs; Angels Camp is about 30 minutes away. Valley Springs was great for us, since it was closer to Plymouth/Shenandoah Valley wine country, Amador City, and Sutter Creek. We'll be back! It was a great, warm 3 day get-away from the fog of San Francisco."

  • Beautiful cabin nestled in the wood, perfect for a Yosemite getaway

"My friends and I had a lovely two-night stay at the Hummingbird Raven house over MLK weekend. We enjoyed sharing meals, sitting around the dining room table, and playing games on the living room floor. We had a party of eight adults and it was a nice, cozy and comfortable gathering. The bunk room is a little small for adults, but the master BR is very spacious and the other two spaces worked great. We had a great time making ourselves at home and exploring that part of the park. The drought meant there was very little snow on Badger Pass Road this year, so we ended up hiking in Yosemite Valley in January in 65 degree weather. I would recommend this place highly to other travelers."

  • River Front Beauty

"This little cabin is a gem. We stayed for three nights and had an amazing time. The yard is adorable and has a huge deck backing the river. We spent most of our time on the deck listening to the river and the birds. This is the perfect place to come to unplug and unwind. Lynne is great to work with and responds immediately. Thank you for being pet friendly. We will return again."

  • Our Family Favorite Home away from Home !

"This is our go to home for Mammoth Mountain. We have been coming here for at least 3 years or so. This kitchen is outstanding for making home cooked meals stocked enough for sit down dinners with the whole group. Love the spa right outside the balcony too. Plus,3 bathrooms so you don't have to wait in line for showers. We love the underground parking. We always have a blast coming up here David. Thankyou for sharing your fabulous home to our family."
