  • Matt Watkins

"This is the second time we have rented this property from Mike, that alone tells a story. This house is great in every way, the house itself is beautifully built and furnished. The grounds are very private and peaceful, the location is also great for freeway and downtown access. No matter what we were looking for or needed, there seemed to be one in the house, right down to a child's highchair and basket of toys! The owner, (Mike), is an extremely nice guy to deal with, whether via e-mail or phone or in person. I highly recommend this home to anyone in need of a well deserved break. Thanks Mike."

  • Provided Everything We Needed

"We rented this condo to nurse our elderly mother back to health and then move her to Oregon. The condo was very clean, well stocked and in a wonderful location. The owner went above and beyond to make sure our stay was comfortable and we appreciated all he did so very much. Many thanks from Alaska Arnie!"

  • Wonderful Location

"My husband and I thoroughly loved the lovely secluded cottage. Just off a major boulevard but quiet. Close to many wonderful restaurants. We will stay again if in the area."

  • Antique and Amazing!

"The home is absolutely unbelievable. It was like stepping back in time, except with a sleep number bed. The antique decor was incredible; this is a must-stay for any history buff. The homeowner welcomed our group and encouraged us to "live" in the home while we were there ("this is not a museum"). We had 6 people and it was very comfortable for all of us. Easy walking distance from everything, and a lovely park right beside. I would consider another trip to Sacramento JUST to stay in this house. Steep stairs might not be suitable for all."

Sacramento Travel Tips

Sacramento Vacation Rentals Will Meet all Your Needs

Whether you are on a business trip or seeking a retreat for the whole family, Sacramento vacation rentals can satisfy your needs. The lovely capital of California is both a great place to visit and a common place of business. If you are tired of staying in the same stuffy hotels again and again on your trips to Sacramento, try a different kind of lodging. Instead of a cramped hotel room, you could be staying in a luxury studio apartment only minutes from downtown; equipped with a full kitchen and even a private pool on site, you are sure to enjoy your stay more. If you are a large family looking for a vacation spot, your Sacramento lodging can provide you with a private estate! Enjoy a private lake and beautiful grounds. The house will have room for the whole family, and more if needed.

Live the History in Sacramento

Gold Country High Sierra cabins are the place to stay if you are looking to take a step into history. Historical Sacramento can take you back to the Wild West. The National Historic Landmark District will not only provide you with many museums and historical sites to visit but has shopping and fine dining opportunities as well. This is part of the city that you absolutely cannot miss. The beautiful historic buildings will take you back to a time and place that you may have forgotten.

Enjoy the Surrounding Country

Enjoy the country surrounding Sacramento as well. There are several national forests and state parks near to Sacramento which can provide miles of trails for hiking and biking. Or take a kayaking adventure down one of the rivers. Fishing and picnic areas are easy to find if you want a more relaxing day in the woods. Enjoy it all while you are in Sacramento.
