"I have same feeling with several reviews below. The photos don't tell the whole story. My family of seven, 4 adults and 3 children, spent two nights there while visiting Sequoia and Kings Canyon and we didn't want to leave. The view from the house is great, the house is very clean and have all we need. Enjoyed watching the birds, sunset, and sky... Kimon is very kind and helpful. He invited us to hike to his garden, where grape was ripe. I told my wife the other day I wished we had come back from the park early enough to make it. Definitely will go again if we are in the area. Definitely recommend to everyone. Kimon & Elaine - Many thanks!"

"Spent a couple of nights up from the Desert. Comfortable well-equipped house, plenty of room for four of us aged 10-80, it would accommodate six well. Separate loft style sitting area and the deck were highlights for when we weren't out and about. Mel was very helpful and adaptable in getting our reservation set up. Covered the Trail of 100 Giants, Sentinel and Stagg Trees, Dome Rock, the Needles and Camp Nelson. Beautiful scenery, land some less travelled trails. The route in and out via Kernville was a great drive where the KRBC was a find. You are up an away from the crowds here."

"It was like a home away from home, but much better!
Gary and Mary were very accessible, caring and always very friendly... from the first email to your first step in to their gorgeous and well kept place to the wonderful welcome package that was well used during our hikes, Gary and Mary were very caring like family and professional like you are in 5-star hotel; best of both worlds.
I just can't say enough praise for Gary and Mary and their wonderful Sequoia Alta Vista!"

"My family and I recently stayed at this amazing retreat while visiting the sequoias. We couldn't have been happier with our choice. It's just minutes away from the park. The personal touches of the house, like the waterfall in the pool, made it super inviting. After long days hiking in the mountains we would wind down in the backyard by the fireplace or in the hot tub. The Southwest decor, open floor plan, and art pieces displayed throughout made it both cozy but also unique. Tucked away, the property was very relaxing and quiet. Pam was great and got back to me immediately when I had questions. We only wish we could have stayed longer."
