"This cabin was awesome! My husband, 4-year old son and I enjoyed a wonderful 3 days-we only left the cabin once to go hiking. There was so much to enjoy at the cabin itself and all the amenities couldn't have been better. The heated pool was perfect even in the 60F outside weather. The pool table, fooseball table, board games, DVD collection, kids toys and outside patio with BBQ was more than enough to keep us entertained. Loved the dual shower and the beds were more comfortable than my own. The seclusion was just what we needed with only the sounds of nature outside. We hope to return again later this year!"

"My daughter & I stayed 4 nights during Spring Break. The house was very spacious - especially since there were just two of us. We loved looking out the large windows to the mountains while we cooked, read or just relaxed. And at night we had a great view of the stars. The river just outside our door was low flowing. We loved putting our feet in the icy cold water. 2 miles from the entrance to Sequoia National Park made hiking very easy. The beds were comfy and the place was very clean. Shoes off at the front door. The master suite is like a huge apartment. The bathroom had just been remodeled. We cooked each day and had everything we needed. There is a phone at the house to use because cell service with AT&T is spotty and nonexistent with Verizon. There is no internet either. Completely unplugged!! Nice! There is Satellite TV if you still feel the need to connect. We can't wait to come again and bring a larger group with us."

defintely a GEM! right on the door step of SEQUOIA national park.
"i am so glad that i found this vacation rental for my son's spring break. we have 2 young kids of 3 and 7 and they cannot hike for a long time. we were able to drive home from the park within 30min. a perfect home away from home feel. after a full morning of exploration / hiking at the park, the kids and adults can all enjoy the pool and the spa. at night we got the fireplace /gas lamp going and enjoyed movies under the stars from the projector, just great!
the owners are very considerate, responsive and hospitable. and so are their staff, very courteous, efficient, paid high attention to details, and tended to our every needs.
we will be back!"

"We had a wonderful stay at the River Villa with our Son, Daughter in law, and three small grandchildren. Perfect "get away" cabin. My daughter in law was thrilled to not have to bring the pack and play, highchair or safety gate for our almost walking youngest grand. There was plenty to do with exploring outside and games and books inside. The spacious great room made spreading out so easy. The laundry area was great to have after playing in the park and outside all day. I personally appreciated the extra mirrors in the bedrooms. It made getting ready in the morning so much easier with so many of us staying in the house. Like some of the others reviews have said, it was a short distance to Sequoia National park entrance (can't get any closer without staying in the park!) but quite a drive to the "big trees"... we still enjoyed the park. Our son and daughter in law enjoyed a "date night" at Ol Buckaroo food truck just a short distance in town. They liked it so much we went back for breakfast on our way out the last morning. GREAT food! The property manager, Robin, was fabulous to work with. So quick, efficient and delightful. We LOVED the bread she left for us to enjoy."
