  • Big & Beautiful

"My daughter & I stayed 4 nights during Spring Break. The house was very spacious - especially since there were just two of us. We loved looking out the large windows to the mountains while we cooked, read or just relaxed. And at night we had a great view of the stars. The river just outside our door was low flowing. We loved putting our feet in the icy cold water. 2 miles from the entrance to Sequoia National Park made hiking very easy. The beds were comfy and the place was very clean. Shoes off at the front door. The master suite is like a huge apartment. The bathroom had just been remodeled. We cooked each day and had everything we needed. There is a phone at the house to use because cell service with AT&T is spotty and nonexistent with Verizon. There is no internet either. Completely unplugged!! Nice! There is Satellite TV if you still feel the need to connect. We can't wait to come again and bring a larger group with us."

  • Honeymoon Dream

"What a wonderful hidden gem! We spent hald our honeymoon here and couldnt have asked for a more serene place. Be prepared for a long drive to Sequoia Park , but Blach park is right up the road and worth the day trip too. The falls behind the cabin are amazing and you feel like you are in your own little world not burdened by outside worries. The wildlife at night is cool too, we saw racoons and a bobcat! Not to mention the roaming cows that love to stare. If you are looking for a mountain getaway, but close enough to town, this is the spot for you! Thank you for such a wonderful experience!"

  • Amazing view and stay!

"Photos don't do this cottage and amazing view justice. The drive up is amazing, but once you get to the cottage the view is breathtaking. We arrived with our 3 kids, nephew, and fur baby and were greeted by Elaine shortly after. She showed us around and made us feel welcomed. You will be delighted to know that this cottage really is home away from home. You have everything you could possibly need - besides food, which you can bring from home to have breakfast, bbq's, lunch, coffee...just like home. There is a trail that leads back around to the cottage, but is well worth the walk. Our kids absolutely loved it! The view of the stars at night is stunning, since it feels like you can literally grab the stars out of the sky. Cottage was roomy and the home was clean and well stocked with games, movies, and books - everything you could want for entertainment. This property is a must-see. You definitely won't regret staying here. We will be back soon."

  • Unbelievable property!

"What a beautiful place. Everything was perfect. Great kitchen to cook and entertain in. Spectacular grill as well! Every detail is so well thought out, even the wood for the wood stove. I got great recommendations for sightseeing as well. We cannot wait to return! All the way from the East Coast!"
