  • Just perfect

"We spent 3 wonderful days at this lovely vacation home. Laura(owner), was very helpful and very sweet. she left a welcome basket for us which also included treats for our two dogs; very thoughtful. Beautiful deck overlooking the river. Spent countless hours in the backyard enjoying nature and watching our kids play in the river. It was nice to watch them play like I did when I was a child. Peaceful mornings, sipping my coffee on the deck as I listened to the river. The house was very clean and had great ameneties. Plenty to do inside as well as outside. Lots of board games to have fun with. Thank you Laura for such a wonderful experience."

  • Sierra House

"Great location. You can't get closer to Sequoia Natl. Park. Spacious house with excellent beds and a very nice living and dining room. Liked the sliding doors out onto the porch from every room. Kitchen is a little funky with drawers that threaten to fall out. Water pressure is a little iffy, as is hot water. And the TVs are fairly difficult to operate in spite of the directions."

  • Great little get away place for us and pup too.

"We chose River Oak Haven specifically because they allow pets. Our family of five stayed at River Oak Haven for a week, using it as our home base for day trips to Sequoia National Park, Kaweah Lake and the general area around Three Rivers. We were able to leave our dog at the property in their comfy kennel and not worry about him. He even got a little lovin' while we were gone, which we appreciated so much. The temperatures were blazing hot the week we were there, but, the air conditioning kept us nice and cool in the evenings and we were all able to cool off and play in the stream by the cabin. Everything we needed was right there and Lynn even recommended some great day trips and activities for us to enjoy. She was a fantastic host and really cares that her guests are comfortable and enjoying themselves. Thank you for a lovely time."

  • Wondeful home, Wonderful hosts!

"My family and I stayed with Lona and Greg in late August for four nights. This home is beautiful and warm. Lona has put her heart and soul into creating a magical space. She has an incredible eye for detail and beauty. Although we were disappointed that the river running through their back yard had dried up due to severe drought conditions, this did not hamper our stay. There are plenty of great watering holes and beautiful spots to get your feet wet close to the home. The highlight of our stay was when we were asked to stay for dinner with our hosts and their friends visiting from Hawaii. A beautiful paella and other delicious foods. Wonderful hosts and a beautiful home."

When you head to Gold Country in California, you will find that you want lodging that is close to the things you plan to do. Three Rivers cabins will do just that. Instead, you get the comforts of home, as well as the convenience.

Wine and Dine in Gold Country

Many people who head to California for their vacations plan to head to a winery or two. There are many great wineries near your Three Rivers cabins. The Boeger Winery is well known for its viognier, and is a great stop for those who are interested in wines. If chocolate is your passion, then Yosemite Fudge is a great place to stop and stock up. Don't forget to share with the family or group when you get back to your Three Rivers lodging! For those who are health conscious, Cozmic Cafe is the perfect stop. This restaurant has a full menu of organic foods, with a large variety of great vegetarian delights.

If you are looking to head out on the town, step out of your Gold Country High Sierra vacation rentals and into Coopers. Not only can you get local wines, but you also get live music!
