  • Sierra House

"Great location. You can't get closer to Sequoia Natl. Park. Spacious house with excellent beds and a very nice living and dining room. Liked the sliding doors out onto the porch from every room. Kitchen is a little funky with drawers that threaten to fall out. Water pressure is a little iffy, as is hot water. And the TVs are fairly difficult to operate in spite of the directions."

  • Wonderful Place

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Sequoia View Cottage. We loved the cottage! The views from the living room are wonderful. We especially enjoyed sitting on the patio and screened in porch after our days in the park. It was so peaceful and quiet. Vince and Maya have gone out of their way to ensure that the cottage has everything you need to be totally comfortable. I highly recommend staying here. We also enjoyed renting a boat on Lake Kaweah for a day."

  • Perfectly Picturesque

"From the moment we drove up, until our tires hit the pavement as we drove away we were in awe of the sheer beauty of this property. The attention to detail that the owners have put into this home and all of its ammenities are simply devine. Every single thing has been throughly thought out and designd to create a true masterpiece of a home. We rented the studio for our wedding weekend and honeymoon and though we got married in Sequoia National Forrest, we chose to have our photos taken on the Devidgil property. The studio was absolutely perfect for the two of us and was well equiped with everything we needed for the weekend. The owners were very accomonating to us and made sure we were comfortable and tended to our every need. We originally planned to stay 3 nights but couldn't bring ourselves to leave and changed our travel plans to stay another day. We left with tears in our eyes, fond memories in our hearts and plans to return again and again."

  • Beautiful getaway on the river!!

"My husband and I recently stayed at the River Jewel for our 18th anniversary. We loved our stay here overlooking the beautiful river! When we arrived, the suite was all ready and waiting for us with water in the fridge, satellite music on the television, the a/c keeping the place nice and cool, and fruit/ snacks in the kitchenette. The decorating is adorable. You can tell that Diana and Larry have put a great deal of time and effort into decorating, and making sure their guests are very comfortable. We unpacked the car, and Larry came by to ask us if we needed anything and told us we were welcome to use bikes, etc. and told us about the property. We got settled in and took a walk down the many paths to the river where the hosts have several sitting areas and a hammock. We then went back to our very large comfy suite with a large bed, kitchenette, attached bathroom, two sitting areas, and deck with an umbrella table, chairs, BBQ and lounge chairs. We cooked wild salmon and corn on the grill and enjoyed wine and chocolate on the deck for our anniversary overlooking the beautiful river! It was great. The next day we went to Sequoia NP and came back and enjoyed the river and deck again! We just wished we could have stayed longer!"
