"My family and I had a wonderful time at the property. It is equipt with everything you need and a great front porch that is perfect for barbeques. Despite the pleasent rain we got during our second day, we were still able to eat outside thanks to the roof covering the porch. There is a small river area right next to the cabin where my family and even our dog enjoyed to splash in as well. Although Lynn wasn't around during our stay, she was super helpful during the renting process and kept me updated as to any questions I had before the stay. I would definitely recommend this beautiful property to anyone!"

"It has all been said - setting is spectacular, suite is fantastic, bed extremely comfortable, owners couldn't be more helpful .... pictures just can't capture how nice the unit is and the beauty of the surroundings. Add to that the fact that Three Rivers is the perfect base to visit Sequoia National Park. We will be back I'm sure!"

"we wanted to go away for the weekend for some relaxing fun in the mountains. we wanted a unique setting that was a hybrid between camping and lodging. that is exactly what we got! the house was clean, roomy, and different. the home came with everything that we needed! the cabin outside we so cute and comfortable. everything in the house worked perfectly and Sheila was more that accommodating! thank you for an amazing weekend!"

"As parents of 3 kids under 7 years old we rarely have time for ourselves. We wanted to plan a trip for our 10th wedding anniversary that was far enough away from home, but close enough in case of emergencies. This place was perfect! Almost rather not write the review and keep this a secret. We were welcomed, given the tour of the land and treated like family - something so rare. Thank you for the great conversation! They are so welcoming and genuinely excited to share this small area of God's creation rich in local history. Completely surrounded by sights and sounds of nature . . no cars, no people. My wife and I felt like we were completely alone in a land far far away. While my wife isn't much into roughing it in the 'woods', I was in paradise. Spent half a day hiking in the national park seeing the giant trees for the first time. The rest of the time walking the property and especially enjoying the sight and sound of the river that brought back so many childhood memories. Her paradise came after "roughing it" all day with me, coming home to the cottage to a warm bath, relaxing on the deck enjoying the view, napping, then under a blanket keeping warm in the living room taking in a dvd or listening to music without any interruptions.
As much as we enjoyed our time alone, we can't wait to be able take our kids for a few days, hopefully making it an annual trip.
Thank you James and Kathleen for allowing us to recharge ourselves and our marriage in the Kaweah Cottage.
God bless you always!
