Great Bass Lake Rental
"This was our third stay at this cabin and Lord willing we will be back. It is very comfortable and the perfect size for our group. What a great location with easy access to the lake, Yosemite, the Sugar Pine Railroad, and many, many hiking trails."

"My husband and I rented this house as a hub to day hike the Sierras. We couldn't have picked a better location. We had the Sierras at our door step but Bishop was only 15 minutes away. When we tired of hiking, we could easily drive to one of the sightseeing spots in eastern Sierras-Mono Lake, Devil's Post Pile, Bristle Cone National Monument. Or fish Bishop Creek which is right outside the house. At this elevation, we had cool mountain breezes escaping the heat in the Owens Valley. The house is completely equipped and beautifully furnished. The owners are a delight. We plan on returning. BTW, try the fire roasted pizza at Cardinal Resort. You can walk there from the cabin."

"I reserved the weekend for a birthday ski weekend. Unfortunately snow has not been ideal for full paying customers. We passed on the skiing but still had a great weekend. The condo was perfect for 3 couples. We played games, hiked, Frisbee golf, and explored Murphys. We had dinner at the Lodge, (walking distance) which was outstanding. The condo had all the amenities and was accurately described."

"What a beautiful place! In planning my brother's bachelor party, I was looking for a place to rent that could accommodate 9 guys (...and guys are usually averse to sharing beds) for a river rafting weekend. I couldn't have chosen a better place. There were more beds and couches for sleeping than we needed, a well-appointed kitchen, and a beautiful grand room with lots of space to hang out, play games, watch movies, have a few drinks, and watch the sun set over the high sierras. BJ was super helpful throughout the planning process and during the weekend itself, and went out of her way to make sure we had everything we needed.
The place is secluded enough to feel like you're in a special place, but close enough to nearby Placerville if you want to find restaurants and so on (The Independent was great for dinner; Sweetie Pie's was great for breakfast), and the Local Take-and-Bake Pizzeria was delicious.
And as a bonus, the house is decorated with a Disney theme. It's understated - with the exception of the Mickey room - but once you really look around you start to see all the Disney flourishes everywhere. I didn't realize that while booking the place, but it ended up being a nice coincidence, as my brother is also obsessed with all things Disney.
Great place for big groups, bachelor/ette parties, families, or even just a getaway for a couple. Can't want to come back."
