  • Fantastic Hideout

"The Capone Lakeview Hideout was fantastic! The house is the perfect size for five families; five rooms with five queen beds and a large loft on the third floor. The loft was the highlight for the children; they loved the bunk beds, playing with their games and watching movies up there; while the parents enjoyed the lovely patio with a beautiful lake view. The location was awesome, just down the street from a great beach, we used the Capone’s canoe and the kids played in the sand. Great vacation, thank you Cynthia! Additionally, Cynthia was very response to all requests and got back to us right away. We would highly recommend this property."

  • Exceeded Expectations!

"This is a really lovely, comfortable cabin! It stayed warm and cozy for such a spacious place, beds were comfy and the kitchen was very well equipped. Communication with the owner was seamless. We came for the cross country skiing which normally is fabulous in this area but because of the poor snow conditions we walked and went snow shoeing instead. I look forward to trying again next year and this cabin would be our first choice place to stay- it was one of the nicest vacation rentals we've stayed in!"

  • Great time at a great location!!

"Time of visit: We rented this home during the snow season Recommended: YES! (highly) This is a very nice house, in a very convenient location, and it is spacious enough to accommodate large families. The home is setup to be very guest friendly and the owners are very hospitable in that they make their supplies and equipment available for use. It is about 0.5 miles from Soda Springs resort (our purpose for coming to Soda Springs) and has quick access to the highway. During our stay it snowed almost the entire time and we got a good 6 to 7 inches of snow (if not more) each of the two days that we were there. Having the mud room was a definite blessing, as it gave us a great place to dress the kids in their snow clothes and even more so an area to undress them from their snow clothes/boots (without getting the main parts of the house wet). Some of the things we loved: • Accommodates 3+ cars • The bunk room stays warm when using the propane furnace. • The mud room stays fairly warm (tolerable) with the provided space heater • Tank-less water heater works great (make sure to turn it on and you may need to check it in the morning to ensure the temperature is high enough) • Great kitchen (open layout) • Good space around the house (for young kids to play in the snow). • House is right off the main road, but not really much traffic (while kids were playing outside) • Plenty of towels are provided in each bathroom • Board and card games are available, along with a pool table and ping-pong table in the bunk room. • Rechargeable flashlights are provided through-out the house (plugged into the wall outlets). Nice! Tips: • Master bedroom does get cold. Be sure to verify that a space heater is in the master bedroom • The ceiling fans on the second floor are controlled by remote. If the remote is not in the living room, check the kitchen drawers (that’s where we found it)"

  • Great place for families

"We stayed in this home for New Year's with a few families and it was PERFECT. The second floor has a spacious living area that was great for fellowship and the bunk room on the first floor was a great hang-out/sleeping area for the kids. The bedrooms were spacious and the kitchen was incredibly stocked. The location is terrific and made getting to and from the ski slopes easy! Kathy, the manager, was great with communication and went above and beyond to make our stay wonderful. We're hoping to rent again in the future as it was the perfect spot to ring in the new year!"
