  • Fun weeks at Bass Lake

"My husband and I love to spend time with the family. We have spent many summers going to Bass Lake and have many wonderful memories of our stays at Bass Lake. This past summer we had the pleasure of staying at this lovely cabin. We had all the comforts of home and a heavenly view of the lake. The cabin is clean and is stocked with all the kitchen utensils our group of ten could need. All the appliances were well taken care of and worked well. There were plenty of beds and they were clean and comfortable. We are looking forward to next summer and another awesome time at this very beautiful cabin."

  • Great stay

"My family from Montana, and my son, who flew in from France, stayed at the "cabin" while here for my daughter's wedding. It was a perfect location, and the accommodations were great. I kept asking how the cabin was. My son and nieces always said it was fabulous. Thanks for helping make the entire weekend perfect. Even the weather cooperated in the end!"

  • A Wonderful Stay1

"Just returned from a stay at this lovely home with our family. It's well situated, immaculate, well equipped and just a great place for a relaxing vacation. We enjoyed the walking path to the lake, the pool, hot tub and tennis courts. The house is in a nice little neighborhood and is surrounded by trees. A short drive to the Pines Resort. Maria, the owner, was most gracious and helpful. Highly recommended!"

  • The best weekend getaway ever!

"My husband and kids asked me what I wanted for my birthday and I said, "Yosemite." With that, we gathered up the family (6 adults, 2 kids) for 3 nights at Cascadel, and our only regret was that we hadn't stayed longer. We had a wonderful stay! There was more than enough room and really all we needed were clothing and food - the house was equipped with all else. We probably planned for a more event-packed schedule, but we got exactly what we needed: a day trek through Yosemite Valley and easy hikes, and the rest of the time exploring the Cascadel trails and neighborhood, cooking, napping(!), playing board games and enjoying the time together. If you're looking for a posh resort experience, Cascadel (or Yosemite for that matter) wouldn't be ideal. But if you're looking to enjoy the natural rustic beauty in a warm and homey setting, this destination and this cabin has it all. Mornings before the house is stirring, on the deck, with a mug of coffee, looking over the green expanse is pretty amazing. While kicking around Yosemite was fun - beautiful and stunning - we all most enjoyed the time at Cascadel unplugged with people you love."
