"Looks a little smaller than the photos upon arrival. However, there were 5 of us, and once we were there it was great! The faucet on the 2nd floor had a broken handle for the cold water, we called the helper and left a message and never heard back. My dad left the handle on the counter with a note as this had been missed before according to the guest book there. The loft was perfect for my kid. She loved it. The beds are very comfortable! The kitchen well equipped. Good secluded area. But still close enough to everything! Will definitely want to stay here again. Very clean!"

"Very nice! We had an amazing vacation! The home served all our needs! It was an easy drive to Yosemite and surrounding towns. The house was clean and very comfortable. Don't forget to bring your bath soap and other toiletries! I wouldn't hesitate in staying again! Thanks Joe!"

"We had a really lovely time staying at this house. It was clean & comfortable, the kitchen had everything we needed, and there are lots of board games & dvds to keep you occupied. The main purpose of our trip was to visit Yosemite, so we were only there in the mornings & evenings, but it was a great place to hang out & rest up for the next day.
The area the house is in seems to be more of a summer vacation destination and a lot of the neighboring houses were empty, so it was very sedate & quiet while we were there - which is what we were looking for! I imagine that it's a lot more bustling in the summer. Pine Mtn Lake is quite lovely and looks like a great place to hang out, especially if you like water sports. Groveland itself is a cute town, with a nice market and several small businesses - shops, cafes, etc.
The owner was very pleasant to deal with and provided us with lots of good information about the house (directions, check in/out directions, info about the Resort, etc). We would definitely consider staying at this house again!"

"My spouse and I stayed at this cabin for 7 nights and it exceeded our expectations. It was very clean and had everything we needed. We realized we forgot to bring tupperware or sandwich bags to bring our food with us on our hikes, but fortunately these items were supplied in the cabin. The kitchen is well stocked (cooking supplies, cleaning supplies, dishes and utensils, basic spices) and there are a lot of toiletries in case you forget something, including bug spray and sunburn treatment. The grill worked great, we took advantage of eating outside and enjoying the garden, and we both slept comfortably. We had no issues with using the internet for web surfing and email. We did not have cell phone coverage at the cabin, but we had coverage at the top of the road that takes you to Foresta, parts of Yosemite Valley, and anytime we were near a ranger station. There is a phone at the cabin.
Yosemite NP is huuuge, so lots of driving is inevitable if you want to visit multiple areas of the park. Foresta is centrally located so that we were 75-90 minutes away from the most northern parts of the park we wanted to experience (Hetch Hetchy), and about 60-75 minutes from the southern most parts of the park we wanted to visit (Mariposa Groves). The drive to Yosemite Valley was less than 30 minutes. My spouse and I sampled a lot of Yosemite during our 6 full days there, and I didn't see any area I would prefer to stay over Foresta - again, considering that our goal was to get to a variety of regions of the park. It's also a great location if you're planning on spending a lot of time in Yosemite Valley but want to have your home base a little bit away from so many people when you want to relax in the evenings, as the Valley is quite busy and congested."
