"This home was perfect for relaxing after a day in Yosemite. We found everything we needed in the kitchen for preparing our meals. Both the family room and living room were very comfortable. We enjoyed the spacious deck both for breakfast and dinner in the evening. It was nice having air conditioning on the days there was smoke from the fires in Kings Canyon NP. The mule deer laying outside the front door was a plus!"

"Looks a little smaller than the photos upon arrival. However, there were 5 of us, and once we were there it was great! The faucet on the 2nd floor had a broken handle for the cold water, we called the helper and left a message and never heard back. My dad left the handle on the counter with a note as this had been missed before according to the guest book there. The loft was perfect for my kid. She loved it. The beds are very comfortable! The kitchen well equipped. Good secluded area. But still close enough to everything! Will definitely want to stay here again. Very clean!"

"This rental is the best way to experience Yosemite! Just a short drive from the valley floor you get away from all the people and crowded camp sites. I've come here twice with family and once with a friend and have always been impressed with how well the cabin is taken care of. Always clean and full of entertainment. I highly recommend this cabin if you are looking to visit the wilderness and live in comfort."

"PROS: Jeff was extremely pleasant to work with. He is very honest of what to expect. You can't beat the price he charges!! The house is actually quite spacious with very comfortable beds. We loved the large back deck that has beautiful views. Very quiet place at the end of a dead end road. We saw wild turkey, deer and squirrels every day. Bedrooms each have their own bathrooms. Pantry holds lots of helpful items. Pretty much anything you need was available in the kitchen. Nice dishwasher!! This place is about a 5 minute drive to lake where we made memories with our boys!!
CONS: Wish the large bathtub in master bedroom worked. The place could use a good spring cleaning. Cobwebs were in almost every corner inside the house. Cobwebs outside look like they haven't been swept in years. My husband was afraid to use charcoal barbecuer because of all the dead leaves everywhere on the deck and around the yard (we were there in the Fall) FYI: this place is far from a store or restaurants. About a 30-40 minutes drive along curvy road to Oakhurst during the off season. Looked like there were stores closer but everything was closed up.
All in all this place has TONS of potential! Just needs a bit of updating and THOROUGH cleaning."
