"This home was a great weekend vacation for my family! After spending many hours at the lake and around Groveland, it was great coming back to this spacious home to play some pool table and ping pong. The community was really welcoming and we would highly recommend this quiet and clean home!"

"I stayed here for a girls weekend to climb half dome so we weren't at the house/in the neighborhood much, but it covered our needs. The house was clean, spacious enough for 6 of us, and even had basketball game and air hockey table in the carpeted garage which made me want to remember this place for kids for future. It could definitely use updating, but the low price works for it being older. Especially in the kitchen where it felt very closed off from the dining table and living room due to the low upper cupboards over the pass through bar end of the counter. My only other complaints were that we had to make the beds ourselves (especially difficult for the queen bunk beds) and also that the instructions on the fridge indicate that check out time is 10 am which is shockingly early. Since we didn't notice that until 9:53am the morning we were leaving, we weren't out until 11, but since cleaning service hadn't arrived, it worked out. The instructions also stated that we needed to fully wash and dry towels if we used theirs (if we used theirs?) ... that seemed like a lot, especially along with a 10am check out! Good points were that the beds were comfortable, the wifi worked well, and there's a really nice couch and flat screen TV on the first level."

"We spent four days at Martina's home in Pine Mountain Lake. The property was clean and had plenty of space for the family. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals there. We also enjoyed using the BBQ and eating out on the deck. The home has cable TV and Internet. They also have plenty of information on the local area. There were books, games, a ping pong table, etc. I would have liked a slightly larger bed in the master bedroom, but it was fine. They provide all the linens and towels, which was nice. The house has an indoor laundry area and we were able to get most of our laundry done before heading home. We did run out of dishwashing detergent while we were there. I emailed Martina in the morning and within a couple of hours, Tom, who cares for the home came by to restock. The home is quiet and peaceful. We spent one day going to Yosemite (which was only about 30 minutes away) and the other two days playing at the lake. Even in the midst of the drought, the lake was beautiful. The kids had a wonderful time in the sand and we had a nice time relaxing on the beach. Although it was busy on Labor Day weekend, there were still lots of places to camp out on the beach. The lakeside cafe was great and really convenient. We also rented a boat from the marina to go fishing. We saw plenty of wildlife in PML including: deer, a bald eagle, and a preying mantis. Overall, we had a wonderful experience here. Note for families with young kids: there is one bedroom upstairs, the other is downstairs. The stairs are steep but carpeted and there is a door that will close at the top of the stairs to prevent little ones from going down on their own."
