  • Stay was brilliant, the house was very clean and location is perfect.

"We stayed here for 1 night (wish it was more!). This is very conveniently located and is about 25 mi south of the entrance of Yosemite National park. After a long day at Yosemite, this is a perfect place to spend the night. The facilities were wonderful, and the house is very cosy and comfortable. The whole community is very quiet and loved our stay here. Alan's directions were very helpful and he is a very accommodative host. The game room is amazing but we couldn't spend enough time. Overall, I was very satisfied with our stay and hope to come back again."

  • Great Family Vacation Home!

"We loved staying at this home. It fit our family gathering perfectly. The children enjoyed watching the deer in the mornings and evenings, and we even had a 4 pointer buck come up close to the deck. We had two babies and the home was even equipped with high chairs and daybeds for both babies. It had everything we needed and we didn't even have time to do all we wanted there. We spent one day at the Pine Mountain lake, which the kids loved, and found it to be an easy drive into Yosemite. Thank you to the owners for all the assistance in making our family comfortable and welcome."

  • Wonderful, comfortable Home!

"We had such a great time at Martina's home! Our family enjoyed the games available and large, spacious living room! We drove in most days to Yosemite but it was a great place to come back and unwind to. There were deer everywhere, so much fun for our kids!"

  • Great house - a lot of fun

"We had a very nice time at the house. Very comfortable, spacious and well maintained home. The location is perfect - beautiful scenery, short drive to Yosemite Valley, Tioga Pass road. Had fun playing table tennis and air hockey in the game room."

Groveland Travel Tips

Groveland Vacation Rentals Offer a Slice of the Past

Founded on water and gold, Groveland offers a glimpse into the historic west. The perfect place to experience this area is from Groveland vacation rentals. Groveland is located just three and a half hours from San Francisco in the beautiful Sierra Nevada Mountains. Groveland is a convenient place for tourists to spend a few nights before traveling on to Yosemite cabins.

Activities in Groveland

There's always something to do nearby, which is why so many people choose Groveland lodging. The town is just a short drive from Yosemite National Park where you can visit Yosemite Falls, the highest waterfall in North America. You can also see the famous Dana Fork of the Tuolumne River. Open-air trams and tours allow you to enjoy the full splendor of the park. You can also take your own vehicle or ride the free shuttle in the park. For hikers, Yosemite National Park has over 800 miles of trails. Mountain climbers, both novice and expert, will be at home in one of the historic birthplaces of the sport. Seasonal activities include fishing, rafting, cross country skiing, downhill skiing, snow shoeing, and mountain biking.

Culture of Groveland

Groveland's history is steeped in the California Goldrush, and the town celebrates this rich heritage. The town has an annual 49er festival that includes parades through the historic town. Tourists can visit the Iron Door Saloon, the oldest continuously operating saloon in California. The saloon got its name because of the solid iron saloon doors at its entrance. This is a fun place to enjoy live music on the weekends. The Ansel Adams gallery is located nearby and celebrates some of the photographer's greatest works featuring Yosemite. Groveland also has a wide array of eateries. If you want a rich history and the majesty of nature, then Groveland vacation rentals await you!
