  • Great house - a lot of fun

"We had a very nice time at the house. Very comfortable, spacious and well maintained home. The location is perfect - beautiful scenery, short drive to Yosemite Valley, Tioga Pass road. Had fun playing table tennis and air hockey in the game room."

  • Stay was brilliant, the house was very clean and location is perfect.

"We stayed here for 1 night (wish it was more!). This is very conveniently located and is about 25 mi south of the entrance of Yosemite National park. After a long day at Yosemite, this is a perfect place to spend the night. The facilities were wonderful, and the house is very cosy and comfortable. The whole community is very quiet and loved our stay here. Alan's directions were very helpful and he is a very accommodative host. The game room is amazing but we couldn't spend enough time. Overall, I was very satisfied with our stay and hope to come back again."

  • Great location and beautiful deck

"Great location with just half an hour drive to the Yosemite entrance or just relax by the Pine Mountain Lake. The house is generally in good condition, especially the deck. Definitely worthy spending hours there. The driveway is too steep for our minivan though."

  • Wonderful getaway worth the drive

"We spent a week at this rental. The master bedroom was amazing as was the master bath. The other 3 bedrooms were minimalist. The internet was slow-so leave your work at home. The TV cable was also minimal. The kitchen was well supplied and had a good floor plan for a group. The lake was clean and well kept up. Sitting out on the back porch it was silent Waugh a beautiful view. A very relaxing place that works well for families."

Groveland Travel Tips

Groveland Vacation Rentals Offer a Slice of the Past

Founded on water and gold, Groveland offers a glimpse into the historic west. The perfect place to experience this area is from Groveland vacation rentals. Groveland is located just three and a half hours from San Francisco in the beautiful Sierra Nevada Mountains. There's always something to do nearby, which is why so many people choose Groveland lodging. The town is just a short drive from Yosemite National Park where you can visit Yosemite Falls, the highest waterfall in North America. You can also see the famous Dana Fork of the Tuolumne River. Open-air trams and tours allow you to enjoy the full splendor of the park. You can also take your own vehicle or ride the free shuttle in the park. Culture of Groveland

Groveland's history is steeped in the California Goldrush, and the town celebrates this rich heritage. The town has an annual 49er festival that includes parades through the historic town. Tourists can visit the Iron Door Saloon, the oldest continuously operating saloon in California. The saloon got its name because of the solid iron saloon doors at its entrance.
