  • Family vacation in PML

"My family has been vacationing at Pine Mountain Lake for many years. We have rented many different houses and cabins, and this house was the best by far. We have a family of four, however my kids always take a friend or two, so we require a house that not only is large enough for all of us, but is fairly close to the marina. This house accomodated both of those preferences. The house's listing description was extremely accurate. The distance to the marina, and the pictures of the house were right on the money. The house was very comfortable for our party of 6 and could have accomodated many more. The house appears to have been renovated recently, as the kitchen and bathrooms were in very nice condition. In addition the down stairs game room (with pool table) kept our kids very busy. The house was also very clean and well maintained. We have rented homes where we did not feel real comfortable until we spent time cleaning the kitchen and bathrooms before they were used. The owner of the house is extremely responsive and was a pleasure to work with. She checked in with us upon arrival (first time we experienced that) and wanted to make sure we were comfortable. I would definitely recommend this house and hope to rent it again for our next visit to PML."

  • Comfy Cabin

"This cabin was very homey and comfortable. My husband, teenage son and myself were on vacation to Yosemite. The location of the cabin is great- you are in a small town about a half hour west of the park, I would say this is the last decent sized town before Yosemite. It has: a small grocery store that packs in a lot of needed items for vacationers, a couple of gas stations and several places to eat out. The cabin itself is located within what seems to be a popular, lake area, gated community which is wonderful for security and those who want to enjoy time at the lake. Even though you had neighbors, you really didn't seem to notice them because of the way the cabin is situated on the lot. The cabin is very well stocked. Nicely decorated. All the comforts you could ask for with lots of room to relax. We spent the days hiking and exploring at Yosemite and the nights curled up on the couch watching movies and enjoying our homemade dinners. We also tried Two Guys Pizza which was very good. All the appliances seem to be quite new, easy to use, great quality. We found the beds very comfortable- we only used those on the main level. The loft has lots of sleeping options and an area for kids to hang out and play video or other games. My son has me scouring the web for one of the older games that he discovered he loved. The owner was very accommodating- I initially made an error and booked M-Th when I should have booked M-F, Stella made the change hassle free for us. Every time I contacted her she was very quick to reply to what ever question I had. Wonderful to work with. We had a fabulous vacation. Yosemite is probably the most Majestic Ntl Park we have been to- loved it! This was a wonderful place to stay."
