"Our family group of six (two grandparents, two parents, two young children) had a good stay at Trudy's cabin during a late June hot spell.
We especially appreciated the spacious layout of the house, with an upstairs living-dining-sleeping area that housed all the younger people, and a downstairs bedroom with en-suite bath that accommodated the grandparents.
We also used the ceiling fans in most rooms (except the one downstairs was out of orde3r) and the air conditioning, a blessing in the heat.
The kitchen was well equipped, and the bedding and towels met our needs.
We were sorry not to be able to find the binder with suggestions for activities (referred to by previous renters). Maybe it was missing, or perhaps we just did not find it.
In all the location, amenities and completeness of the furnishings and equipment made for a fine five-day stay. stay."

"May 2015 - Thank you for opening up your beautiful vacation home to us. We had such a great experience visiting Bass Lake and Yosemite (20-30 minutes to entrance)!! This was our first experience using VRBO and we hit the jackpot with a cozy, beautiful home and extremely helpful, friendly owners. The rooms are spacious and clean, pool/hot tub, quiet/peaceful neighborhood, great kitchen for cooking/baking, BBQ grill, and close grocery stores. We had a wonderful time jet skiing on Bass Lake and spending one of our mornings at Glacier Point (a must-see) in Yosemite...absolutely breathtaking!!! You could easily spend 2 weeks here. We are already planning our next trip back."

Quiet, comfortable and beautiful scenery at Donkey Lane
"Yosemite Vista at Donkey Lane is a comfortable, quiet and clean retreat. The views and sunsets are beautiful. The landscaping and yard are very nice. The owner provides lots of helpful information about the area and an extensive binder with guidelines and rules about how to manage the recycling, composting and other household responsibilities. The pantry has clearly marked shelves for guest & community items.
Most everything was very clean (refrigerator, showers, bedding etc.) and ready for guests. There were just a few things that keep me from giving Donkey Lane 5 stars and these things may not be issues for everyone: I prefer bathroom drawers and bedroom closets to be emptied of owner's personal items; bar soap and kitchen sponge to be new and unused and pot holders to be unstained. I didn't know beforehand that there is no TV reception. The TV is only for DVDs.
All in all I think most people would enjoy their stay here."
