"Thanks for much for an awesome stay!
The house was very clean, neat, and well equipped. We didn't feel like the house was lacking anything. We loved all the patios and outdoor space. We needed assistance with 1 issue while we were there (something that was our fault, not the properties!) and it was promptly and very kindly taken care of.
We had 5 adults, 1 young kid and a toddler. Having the different levels made it nice for everyone to have their own areas/space.
The living room got a little cramped at times - but that's what the beautiful patios were for!
As others have mentioned, the driveway is narrow and steep. We had 1 large SVUs and it was difficult to get up towards the top of the driveway. It would have been difficult to get more than 1 let alone 3 SUVs in the driveway. But smaller cars would have been easier to deal with.
There's also quite a few stairs for getting up to the property. A lot of homes in Yosemite West have a lot of stairs to deal with (you are in the mountains after all!) but if this is an issue there are places that are more accommodating / have fewer stairs.
Even with those slight negatives, we highly recommend this house and would rent from them again if we are so lucky to return to Yosemite! Thanks!"

"Looks a little smaller than the photos upon arrival. However, there were 5 of us, and once we were there it was great! The faucet on the 2nd floor had a broken handle for the cold water, we called the helper and left a message and never heard back. My dad left the handle on the counter with a note as this had been missed before according to the guest book there. The loft was perfect for my kid. She loved it. The beds are very comfortable! The kitchen well equipped. Good secluded area. But still close enough to everything! Will definitely want to stay here again. Very clean!"

"Very spacious house. Incredibly comfortable and clean. Martina, the owner is a very accommodating lady and ensured that our stay was care-free. We were able to barbecue and eat dinner outside on the very nice upper deck, which was extremely private.
There are laundry facilities at the home and detergent was furnished. One of the best features, downstairs in the finished basement (with full bath) was a ping-pong table! Yes, this was part of our nightly entertainment and very enjoyable after a full day in Yosemite - an EASY 30 min. drive to the park entrance.
Cons (very minor):
- the complex charges you $20 for your stay for "use of facilities" associated with the lake, etc. Frankly, I paid extra for beach rental equip and for dining at their "premier" restaurant at the golf club. So, I'm not really sure why they levy this fee. No, it's not much, but, if you extend your stay at another property in this complex, you will have to pay the $20 again. Seems bogus, but what do I know? All in all, the price of this property is a bargain and the area is quite beautiful.
If you are looking for fine dining, forget about it. The area is relatively bereft of choices. Steer clear of Buck Meadows restaurant, approx 10 mi. away on the road to Yosemite. You are way better off cooking at home. That said, the Groveland Inn had some pretty decent food, although both of my initial choices were sold out. But the food was quite good there, in spite of that.
There is an area market that is well-stocked. Don't buy beef there - it is very tough. Instead, take a drive to Sonora - a good-sized town with numerous restaurants and large grocery store(s).
All in all, this stay was worth every penny! My GF concurs. A better value you won't find. Don't even bother booking a hotel! Compared with a VRBO property like this, there is NO comparison!
Would definitely stay here again.
Thank you Martina!"

"My daughter & I spent 6 days at Sierrascape & we were overwhelmed when we pulled in the driveway & entered the house. I have traveled extensively & stayed at many vacation rentals but Sierrascape was by far the best ever. The location, furnishings, decor, deck, hot tub, and attention to detail is fantastic. After dreaming of our trip to Yosemite & looking at the photos of Sierrascape online, we were overcome with excitement about visiting one of our nation's most spectacular national parks & staying at Sierrascape. We really appreciated the binder with information about the short cut drive to Yosemite, local information about Mariposa, etc. We made a slide show of our Yosemite photos/videos & of Sierrascape & family & friends were impressed with the beauty of both. Thank you, Kirsty, for your hospitality & for keeping your vacation rental property in such excellent condition. Hope to return someday."
