"We loved our stay at the Lynmar Pond Guest Ranch! We were in town for the weekend for a show at Bandit Town, and chose this spot for its rustic look and its close proximity to town and the venue. We LOVED staying in the single room suite-- airy yet secluded, overlooks some AMAZING views of the mountains from the bedroom window, and perfectly furnished and equipped with everything that we needed for the weekend. Added bonus: Mark's dog Skyler is the most well-tempered dog we've ever met! He accompanied us on walks around Mark's vast property which was perfect for tons of photo ops as well as some zen, quiet time. Mark's a professional-- attentive when it's necessary and gives you space to enjoy your weekend. We learned so much about the area not only by chatting with Mark but also with literature in our suite on local businesses and history.
We couldn't have asked for a better escape for the weekend-- a break from technology and a relaxing stay taking in all of the beauty of the ranch. Thanks again Mark! We'll be back next year!"

"How do you describe a little piece of paradise? The tranquility was so nurturing in this beautiful environment....tuned to nature and silence. The world stopped for a week while our souls were refreshed in such a beautiful environment. The house is lovely - everything is so comfortable and fits "Inside" with "outside." The kitchen is well equipped... (loved the gas stove) and the main living area so spacious. The master bedroom in particular, was so roomy with a comfy bed.Your nurturing of your property is very apparent! Thank you so much for a wonderful experience!"

"It was really nice and cozy. The cabin was only a 30 minute drive to a sequoia grove outside yosemite. Close to yosemite and it was a beautiful drive. It had pretty much everything we could think of needing."

Perfect jumping off point for exploring Yosemite Valley
"We found the cabin to be exactly described and perfect for my wife and I as a home base for our day hikes in the park.
We have stayed at a lot of VRBOs and the Yosemite area does not seem to have a lot of decent lodging at this price point. The cabin was clean and well equipped with everything we needed to cook meals. The shower was great the bed and linens were great. The decor is modern, not like most of the other cabins we looked at.
The proximity of this cabin to the valley floor is the real benefit. We were at the trail heads before anyone else and had the trails pretty much to ourselves in the mornings.
It was a bit of a shock when we realized the cabin is situated in an area that was hit by a fire and the tree cover is somewhat sparse. The surroundings are still attractive though and the bulk of our time was spent in the park anyway.
We found the Internet service to be very slow, if it even worked at all- so don't plan to login and do any work from here. Fortunately we didn't care much about that and we just popped in a dvd in the evening.
Laundry access would be the only thing that would have really been nice here, although we know there's a shortage on water and we packed accordingly."
