"We (5 adults, 1 child) had a great time staying here. The cabin was clean, well-equipped, and relaxing, with plenty of room on the lovely patio to sit, read, and eat. My nephew absolutely loved the foosball table, so that was a nice bonus. Oakhurst is close by, which made traveling with a small child much less stressful, as we knew we could go to the store for anything we forgot. Overall, we really enjoyed the cabin and would stay here again."

"Great location within Yosemite Park, about 15 minutes from the valley. The setting is quiet and serene. The home is adorned with some nice artwork and there is a nice view of Yosemite Valley in the distance from the living room, which has a high ceiling, and from the large deck. The floor plan affords some privacy to guests, with two bedrooms and a shared bathroom downstairs, a sofa-bed and private bathroom in a loft area, and a master bedroom with en suite bathroom on the second floor."

"This was an amazing rental property that comfortably house my family of 9 for our Yosemite visit. Ashok was very helpful and answered all my questions I sent him in a very timely manner. The home is fully equipped with everything one a need. There are even some extras like the foos ball table and ping pong table. The lake was only 2 miles away which has a very affordable snack bar with adult libations. It was a very peaceful home and we were visited my deer every morning!"

"From the moment we unlocked our front door, we were at home. The house was spacious and cozy at the same time, accommodating a range of generations, offering both privacy and a variety of gathering spaces. The kitchen was well equipped, and roomy enough for several cooks at a time. The decor is tasteful and appropriate to the area; we especially appreciated wall art that helped us understand the flora, fauna, and geography of the park. We were grateful for the gas assist in the fireplace, as the firewood was not seasoned enough to "catch." Another very helpful touch was the set of detailed, accurate instructions for using the many electronic entertainment systems in the living area (loved the surround sound). For us Angelinos, Wawona is the perfect locale: it's the closest park entrance, and yet is a perfect hub for all the park zones: Mariposa Grove, Pioneer Yosemite History Center, Chilnualna Falls, Glacier Point, Yosemite West, and the Valley Floor. We enjoyed a delightful dinner at the Wawona Hotel, too. Although we took the owners' advice and stocked up at a supermarket in Oakhurst on our way in, I agree with other reviewers that the two convenience stores in Wawona have quite a bit to offer. The Redwoods office staff was friendly and efficient. Our stay was brief and whetted our appetite to return and take in more of the area's attractions, and we would choose 41R again in a heartbeat. Thank you for a lovely family vacation."
